Self-hatred Only Grows
Self-hatred only grows,
As this poem shows.
I always begin to wonder.
I sit alone and ponder.
Wonder, is there any hope?
Ponder, can I really cope?
They want to wash my mouth with soap.
They want to shove my words down my throat.
No one cares
They just mock and stare.
My mind is corrupted by a merciless beast
That tells me I should be deceased.
I'm am a soul that is lost.
Love is something I can't afford the cost.
They relish my pain.
They relish my shame.
I have lost this game,
And life is it's name.
All I want is to feel alive.
But, I can't if I can't thrive.
No one would care.
Of there deceit, I am aware.
My suffering can't end.
To get help, you need a friend.
Now, that's something I lack.
My heart has a dangerous crack.
Life hates me.
It's obvious to see.
As this poem shows,
Self-hatred only grows.
