Little did they know, that bright sunny morning  in June,

That their actions would act, just like a tune,

(You know the sort I mean, that appears even within our dream),

That you end up humming cheerfully  over and over.

Anyway- this was the Catalyst, so it seems.

Let me explain it clear,

You see,

 This couple, (elderly souls),

Were out for their morning stroll,

Passing the regulars with a nod, -as usual- in the dawn,

Yet today they both were drawn -

To wander hand in hand,

And there on the edge of the sand,

They took off shoes and socks,

Placing them safely on rocks,

They ran, yes ran! Into the waves!

And the pleasure that they had,

Made all who saw feel glad,

Radiating onwards through the day,

Forever leaving a smile in our memories.
