Why do our byes hurt deeper than goodbyes?

Every time the fear of losing you creeps in. I don't know. It seems stupid. But our byes hurt like hell. My stomach churns and a weird feeling pains my heart. I know it's necessary. It's how life works. We need to complete our priorities.
