"Beat you again Elaine," Chase winks with his playful but confident smile.

The yellow mouse Pokémon Pikachu sits on top of his shoulder, eyeing the Pokémon he defeated while smirking. The two are definitely a match made in the Hall of Origin.

"Maybe this time," The short but lean brunette waves her hand away from the boy. "Eevee was just distracted by the cuter Pikachu watching from the Pokémon Center."

The small brown fox Pokémon gives Chase's Pikachu a smug look before turning away with her trainer. "Vee~"

Pikachu hangs his head low as the fair of females walk away. Chase takes off his red and white hat that matches Elaine's before shaking his soft black hair. "You're getting stronger buddy."

"Piii," The electric type tries to smile.

"You must be sick or something," Chase cradles the Pokémon against his matching coloured sweater. "Let's get you healed up."

The pair are Nurse Joy who done her daily job of taking care of every Pokémon in need. Within a few minutes Chase is heading back to his room in the building with a healed but somber Pikachu.

Chase throws his bag on the single bed before opening the curtains to the small balcony for some sunlight. He pulls out his Cascade Badge he got from a easy win against a gym leader.

He polishes it with pride before knocking interrupts him.

Elaine flies through the door, pulling Chase out of the room exactly 2.7 seconds later. Leaving a very confused mouse Pokémon alone on the bed.

Instead of giving any chase for his trainer, Pikachu sighs and falls back asleep. Or tries to...

"Eevee~" The small brown fox Pokémon stands on the balcony. Her big eyes sparkling and cute face tilted. Her frequently brushed fur shimmers in the sunlight.

Pikachu shakes his head to make sure he isn't dreaming before stumbling off the bed and barely making it to the balcony in one piece. The electric type thanks Arceus for giving him naturally red cheeks to hide his blush of embarrassment.

Eevee giggles pushes at the door to slide it open. Strolling in and knocking Pikachu lightly with her bushy tail as she walks by. Putting the Pokémon in a short daze.

Eevee hops on the bed and stares at the frozen Pikachu curiously. Knowing that this is going exactly how she wants...

Pikachu shakes his head and looks around for Eevee quickly. He sees her sitting on the edge of the bed, looking down at him like she's the queen.

She smirks and says a few commands that involved Pikachu bowing, spinning around in circles and even running around the room finding things to build Eevee a castle. That's a pretty creative Pokémon...

Pikachu collapses from exhaustion in front of the bed. Part of him questioning why he's doing this.

Eevee jumps down and licks his red cheeks, redder than usual.

Oh that's why.

Eevee nudges him until he follows her back on the bed. The fox Pokémon laying down and leaving a space for Pikachu.

He smiles and curls up next to her, the two ready to enjoy a nice peaceful sle—

"Whyyyy," Chase groans and busts though the door with Elaine following.

"Come on Chase," The girl pouts but her expression changes after seeing the two cuddling Pokémon. Who are trying to make it seem like they're asleep and won't have to move.

"They must be tired," Chase looks at them in sympathy.

"That's not the only reason," Elaine says and Chase looks at her confused. "You'll understand when you finally take a hint."
