"Drew!"

Drew heard his favorite coordinator before he saw her rush into his room and fall on top of him.

"April? I thought you hated me? What's wrong?" He held her gently as she began to sob loudly.

"Y-You were right! A-Ash is dating M-Misty!" May cried.

Drew sighed, "So you found out?"

May sat up and almost knocked Drew out.

"She's gonna pay! I'll get him back! Watch me!"

Drew grabbed her and flipped her on the bed as she was running out.

"Hey! What's the big idea, Hayden?"

He locked the door and stared at her as she sat up.

"First things first. You still mad at me for last week?"

May bit the inside of her cheek and contemplated. She sighed and slowly shook her head.

"No, you were just looking out for me," She fell back and covered herself in his blankets. "Why am I such an idiot!"

Drew smiled as he laid down next to her. She had made herself into a little burrito and Drew couldn't help but think how cute she was. He pulled her tiny figure towards him and held her close. A little tuft of her hair was peeking out and he buried his nose in her rosy scent.

"May...I know you like Ash but...I love you. I've wanted to tell you ever since we started traveling together but I was too...um, nervous. It felt even worse than doing a competition. I know it's lame but I don't know...Arceus, if you saw yourself the way I saw you. I wish you could because then you'd be blinded by how beautiful I see you."

Drew waited to see how she'd respond.

She snored

Drew almost fell out of the bed in shock. He unwrapped her from the blanket and saw she had fallen asleep. He sighed.
