"Ugh back to Oak Laboratories" Misty thought. It wasn't that she hated the lab it was just that recently Gary had been stopping by.

As she arrived at the Lab there were no signs of Gary.

"Ok let's just pick up the Pokemon food and then leave" she said quietly

The door opened "mistyyyy" a voice said

"Hello Gary" she groaned

Gary smirked "I'm surprised you didn't forget my name I must be in your memories"

"Yeah you are in my memories as the jerk who defaced my sign for Cerulean city"

"Mist it was in the bottom right hand corner and I was 10!!!" Gary said

"Hmph don't you have a girlfriend to be with uh what's her name something like slut?" Misty responded

"Leaf...actually and she cheated on me" Gary said his eyes softening

Misty felt a little bad for him "I see it didn't do anything to your ego"

Gary looked back up "not a thing" he said tousling her hair "I'll go get the food for you"

Misty hated it...and loved it he was alluring in his obnoxious jerk way and he was...single?

"No" Misty thought "what would Ash think?"

Gary returned with a big bad of Pokemon food

"How'd you know my order?" Misty asked checking the label

"I uh I was just looking for your nam...uh I mean through the orders" Gary said blushing

Misty pulled out $50 "here that's for you"

Gary didn't accept the money "instead let me take you out to a party" Gary said

"Uh ok fine" Misty responded

They walked together laughing until the reached a place just outside of Pallet Town that said" welcome home Ash"

Misty slightly gasped "uhhh Gary" she said

"Yeah Mist"

"Can we please go" Misty responded "please"

"No c'mon it will be fun I'll get to see Ashy Boy again"

Gary and Misty sat down at a table the party was in full swing. Mrs. Ketchum greeted them

"She...she is here....Misty?" Ash thought to himself

He suddenly saw a blue of red hair

"Mist" he said

"Ashyyyyy" an obnoxious voice said

"What Serena?" He asked

"Well I just wanted to tell you that for a really long time I've liked you" she said blushing

"Serena the girl of my dreams is in front of me" ash responded looking for Misty in the crowd

"Awww sweetie" Serena said

"Not you" ash said giving her a strange look

"Then who....?" Serena asked but was cut off by Ash going through the crowd
"Fine I'll like go date Clemont then gosh"

"Slut!" Someone yelled

Serena turned around to see a guy in a lab coat with an Umbreon he had cinnamon colored hair and two pendants around his neck underneath his coat he wore a tight black shirt and blue jeans

"Uh do you want to date me?" Serena asked

"Hmph why would I, my girlfriend just cheated on me and even if I wanted a relationship it would be with...uh...a friend" Gary said blushing

"May I have this dance" ash asked Misty

"Uh who the hell are yo....oh hey Ash" she said stuffing her mouth with salt and vinegar chips (if you read a lot of my stories salt and vinegar chips are mentioned a lot cause I loveeee them :P )

"Uh yeah sure" she responded as Ash led her to the dance floor Ash Gary watched from the side
