Backstory: *Sigh* He was an orphan along with his sister Jessica, because his parents knew they both had powers. When he was 10 and she was 12, they ran off. Some man tried to kidnap them, and Nikolai freaked out, and accidently used his powers to kill him, and his sister, Jessica. The event left him emotionally and mentally scarred, so the result is he's wary around people and tries not to get too attached to anyone.
