Prank Eight
Pranker: War
Victim: Fury
Let's begin.
Today was like any day, but this was the second week of the prank war of the Nephilim siblings. Lately they had been lacking in pranks over what the humans called a "weekend" primarily because the Charred Council had been abusing the right to call them into action. Sometimes their missions would take so long any plots devised against one another fell in on themselves because of time constraints.
But luckily War had earned his chance to set in motion a new prank. He knew it wasn't a very clever one, but anything that could cause a reaction from one of his siblings was good enough for a point on their chart. That was all that mattered now.
War created a plan in which he would jump out from the shadows to frighten his sister, maybe manipulate (or threaten) Strife into helping him lure her into his trap. He also decided he would bring back something from his previous prank against Strife, a cream pie. Maybe with luck he could make it his signature pranking style
War set up for his scheme, forcing himself to get Strife to join as a conspirator against their sister. When Strife had been informed of his plan the older horseman encouraged him to use a cream pie and set up a way to take a picture of Fury to save the moment of embarrassment for laughs in the future. Both brothers had been waiting in the room all day, it was the doorway by the front door, waiting for Fury to come home.
There was almost an incident with Death walking into the house, nearly ruining their entire set up. Good news for that though was Strife now had a picture of Death nearly cutting off War's head with his scythe when the youngest Nephilim jumped out at him. That was something to keep in their family album.
Strife was adjusting the camera, having grown bored in waiting for the female rider to return home. Death was nearby, sitting down on a couch nearby, unable to resist seeing how this prank was going to play out. Strife and War both knew that was the reason, the book he was reading wasn't a good cover up of his true intentions.
Soon they heard the loud sound of her horses hooves as they charged up to the house, listening for her to dismiss it back into whatever world their steeds moved onto. Strife and War got into position, a new eagerness brewing in their stomachs. Death barely looked away from the page he was on to start watching for this all to unfold.
Soon Fury opened the door, her eyes first seeing the camera, her eyebrows knitted together in curiosity. Immediately after she nearly jumped out of her skin as War's huge frame leaped out at her from the shadows, making her squeal in alarm. She threw out her fist and hit War square in the face, Strife ran over in that moment to slam a cream pie in her face. Fury sputtered out something unintelligible, probably a curse or two, as the pie connected to her face.
Despite having taken on a fist to the face War started roaring with laughter along with Strife, Death chuckled softly over on the couch as he returned his attention to the book in his hand. Fury ran her fingers down her face, wiping off the majority of the cream. She took on a sassy pose in retaliation against her brothers, but ultimately began laughing with them as she wiped some cream off her face and stuck it in her mouth for a taste test.
Death reached over and added a point to War's box.
