Dear Magnus,

We had a big fight today. You were a little drunk and kept talking about how I wasn't over Jace. I knew you weren't thinking properly so I tried to keep my cool, as hard as it was I wanted to cry but I wouldn't let myself, not in front of you. You said some hurtful things and I told you I was leaving so I wouldn't cause an even bigger fight and now I'm sitting in a park hiding under a big tree.

Magnus blinked away tears. The memory of that night was all too clear.

I just want you to know that I'm not mad at you. Okay, maybe I'm a little mad. But I know you'll apologize later. You better apologize later, anyway. (I'm teasing you.)

Please remember that I always forgive you when we fight, and it's always okay in the end (as we fade into the night...sorry, I had to reference). And I want to remind you that I love you, no matter what. And I hope you still remember that in the future when I'm no longer here. I hope long after I'm dead you still remember me, but I understand if you don't.

Please never forget how precious you are to me. And don't feel too guilty about the fight- I'd be worried if we didn't fight And we always work things out.

"Oh, Alexander," Magnus murmured, holding the letter to his chest. It felt so nice to know that Alec had truly forgiven him. He put the letter away and leaned his head back. He needed some sleep. He didn't sleep much these days.

Chairman Meow padded into the room and leaped onto Magnus's lap. He smiled tiredly, rubbing Chairman's ears. "You'll stay here with me, won't you?" he whispered to the cat. For once Chairman didn't turn away and Magnus closed his eyes and in few seconds had drifted off into his dreams.
