Twas the night before Christmas,

a busy time for Santa each year,

a time to load up his sleigh,

and feed his magical reindeer.

His first present is for Molly,

she asked for a Barbie dolly,

the next one is for Myrtle,

wanting a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle,

Santa then called with a present for Toni,

she wrote asking for My Little Pony,

his next present is Garfield the cat,

this he leaves for sound asleep Pat,

continuing on the next one is Joe,

he wanted colourful tubs of Play Doh,

it is at Paul's house that Santa has to stop,

he's hoping for his very own laptop,

Santa then went next door to James,

he was hoping for some X Box games,

Santa leaves presents in a stocking or sack,

next for gifts is Lego for Jack,

as all the children are asleep in bed,

he leaves behind Paw Patrol for Fred,

in the next house lives Sarah May,

and leaves behind some perfume spray,

so on Santa goes, next is Mary Ann,

her presents she'll love, a Shopkins fan,

across the street lives blond haired Joan,

her present is a new mobile phone,

a mince pie and milk await Santa Claus,

for Martin a video of Star Wars.

the next gift to leave is for Mack,

Thomas the Tank Engine and Track,

a shiny new two wheeler bike,

will bring a smile to the face of Mike,

off goes Santa, next on the list is Claire,

she will love her cuddly Teddy bear,

for Malcolm a shiny pair of roller skates,

now he can join in with his mates,

Peppa Pig is now being delivered,

it's for Simon, as Santa shivered,

next door he leaves an Action Man,

because it's the favourite toy of Stan,

the next present is for a girl named Hilda,

she's in love with Bob the Builder,

for Fiona an electric guitar,

and Julie a remote controlled car,

he then leaves a box of Playmobil,

always a favourite of Lucille,

for Tamar who is fast asleep,

Santa leaves her Shaun the Sheep,

for Gail a present not so chunky,

for her a Fingerling Baby Monkey,

one of his final presents is for Sam,

she is getting a doll and a pram,

of course he can't forget Isabelle,

for her a musical wishing well,

it's nearly time for Santa to go,

all presents delivered, he feels a warm glow,

as snow falls gently on the ground,

Santa Claus leaves without a sound.
