Ch.4

Magnus's POV

God this boy is killing me. His skin feels amazing against my lips. So soft, so smooth. He just tastes like innocence, like strawberries and honey. He refuses to tilt his head to give me better access. I can't say I'm surprised that he doesn't want me to mark him, he doesn't strike me as someone who has an extensive scarf collection. I continue peppering him with kisses but he won't let me have what I want. I let out a little hiss, almost surprised that I made such a primitive sound but those thoughts are pushed away when I grab his jaw and force his head to the side. My teeth slide against his skin and I roll closer. I'm painfully hard and Alec feels that because he gasps when my erection rubs against his thigh. He lets out a little moan that I'm not sure he knew he even let out. He's driving me crazy, I need to be inside him but there's no way he'd let me. My thoughts become reality when he pushes me away from him, saying my name in a low growl of warning. I figured he'd do this eventually but I'm not done yet. I slip my tongue out from between parted lips and lick the vein on the side of his neck. I work my way up to his chin and almost laugh because he's holding his breath. I look up at him and our eyes meet, without breaking the eye contact I press a chaste kiss on the side of his mouth.

"Sorry Alexander, I couldn't control myself," I say after ruffling his curly black hair.

I roll away from him and grab my toothbrush off of my nightstand. He doesn't say anything and I feel a slight pang of remorse for trying to kiss him when he didn't want me to. He pants on the bed, his chest rising and falling rapidly. I swallow hard and try to push the image of him panting and whimpering beneath me, sweat rolling down his chest and his lips wide open, leaving room for whatever I want to put in there out of my head. I usually have a bit more self control but hey, what is self control since I clearly don't know.

I swiftly pad over to the bathroom and turn on the light, almost wincing at my appearance. I look like sex. My pupils swallow my golden irises and my lips are swollen from kissing and sucking young Alexander's sweet skin. Wow I sound like a creep but I can't help it. There is no way I can survive an entire semester with this kid who won't even let me kiss him. I want to do so much more than kiss this boy but he'd never let me.

I let out an exasperated sigh and run my hands through my hair and stare at my toothbrush for a while contemplating what to do. I don't want Alexander to hate me and I kinda blew it already. He seemed to like me well enough before I pushed myself on him. He didn't seem to hate what I was doing to him and he let out these cute little whimpers when I ran my tongue across his skin in swirling motions.

His innocence is so alluring to me because he's unlike all the other people I've been in relationships with and I'm so drawn to the change. Everyone I've been with ever has submitted to me instantly, willing to let me pick what I want to do to them but not Alexander; he's different. I like that he's feisty but at the same time I find it a slight annoyance that he doesn't just let me kiss or screw him.

I finally begin brushing my teeth, keeping my eyes on the mirror. I watch as the minty foam bubbles over and spills from my mouth and into the small marble sink. The bathroom is quite small with a shower tucked away in the corner adjacent to the small white toilet. The walls are black and white tile that's classic and elegant. Finally I spit the toothpaste/spit mixture into the sink and rinse my mouth out with cold water. I look back into the mirror and my eyes zero in on Alexander who sits in the corner of the rectangular mirror.

He has his shirt pulled off and his hands looped behind his neck. His chest rises and falls quickly and his legs quiver. His eyes are closed and his head is tilted back with his mouth open gasping for air. My lips quirk into a small smile because I did this to him, I made him want me.

I slowly wash my face with the bar of soap just trying to take my time to watch what he does. I'm disappointed when he reluctantly pulls his shirt over his head and slips on a pair of basketball shorts. I can see his erection from here but he doesn't dare to touch it which shows his amazing restraint. I know the amount of pain he must be in and I struggle to understand why he won't let me relieve him of his pain. I would be so sweet to him, I would make sure he stops hurting like this. Alexander has a stronger will than I anticipated and will not eagerly ask me to help him, but if I gained his trust he would let me do what I wanted.

I finish my routine and take a piss before heading towards the exit when I find Alexander laying on his stomach with his face turned to the side. I smile faintly and turn out the light in the bathroom, listening to Alexander's light snores. I stand over him and examine his pretty face. His eyes are closed and his long dark lashes fan across his cheekbones. His hair falls across his forehead and onto the white pillow and his lips are parted slightly. He looks so peaceful and angelic just laying there asleep in his bed. Without thinking I walk over to him and brush his hair off of his forehead before pressing a light kiss to his forehead. He sighs happily and my smile broadens. I'm filled with a strange sense of joy that I haven't experienced in a while and with that in mind I tuck myself into bed with a smile on my face.

*********************
"Magnus please," he chokes out as I stand above him. I grab onto his hair and force his head back to look into my eyes. He closes his eyes and lets his mouth fall open, giving me a good view of his teeth and tongue. I move forward and rub my belt buckle against his cheek, sighing as he blushes furiously and lets out a strangled whimper.
"Please what pretty boy?" I ask him slowly and he he cries out when I yank his hair back. He reaches out and grabs my belt buckle and pulls it off slowly, now faced only with my closed zipper and my hard on. I groan throatily when he presses his lips to my erection and then make a sound of impatience because I want him to take me into his mouth immediately. He looks up and smiles wickedly before yanking down my pants and underwear in one fatal swoop.
"What do you want baby?" I ask him and he gives me a sultry smile before opening his pretty little mouth.
"Wake up Magnus," he tells me and I stop smiling.
"Huh?" I ask in confusion.

"Magnus wake up," I hear again and I open my eyes to find Alexander leaning close to me with a look of annoyance on his face. I blink a couple of times and sigh, wishing he hadn't woken me up.

"You better have a pretty great reason for waking me up," I warn him lowly and he flashes me a dimpled grin.

"Dreaming about me were you?" He asks me and I'm taken aback by his straightforward flirting. I pull my lips back and smile at him.

"Wanna hear about it?" I ask and he blushes instantly and backs away from me, refusing to meet my eyes.

"Er...ah no thank you," he stutters and plays with his hands nervously. I laugh at his reaction and his eyes widen as I throw my head back. When my laughter finally dies down he straightens and pulls back the covers.

"Jace texted me and asked if I wanted to have breakfast with him and his roommate Simon and I was wondering if well...if you wanted to..." he tells me as he turns around, trying to give me privacy to put on some clothes. I snort and climb out of bed and stand behind him with my lips pressed to his ear.

"Sounds like fun," I whisper and he shivers in response.

I walk over to my drawer and try to pick an outfit from my sparse clothing choices. I decide on a black long sleeve shirt and a pair of jeans with my pair of black combat boots and a black leather jacket. I drape a colorful blue scarf around my neck and run my hands through my hair. I walk to the bathroom and brush my teeth and wash my face before walking out to where Alexander stands next to the door, his eyes scanning his phone screen. He looks cute in a light purple sweater with a purple, blue, and black checkered shirt peeping out from the collar. His sleeves are rolled up to his elbows and his shirt is tucked into his khaki pants. The ankles are rolled up revealing purple socks and brown boat shoes. He has a black trench coat thing slung over his arm and his hair is a mop of messy black curls. I walk over to him and grab his phone out of his hands, chuckling when he tries to grab it out of my hands.

"You'll get this back soon, I don't want those pretty eyes of yours to be focusing on a phone screen instead of what's around you," I explain to him and melt when a small smile forms on his lips and he looks down.

"Let's go," he says and opens the door, letting me walk in front of him.

We walk together off campus and take the bus to a small restaurant called Pamela's. It's a relatively small restaurant but everyone from campus seems to be hear so it's packed. I scan the area and find booths lining the beige walls. Tables sit in the middle and there's a bar off of the kitchen where single parties sit and eat. There is no empty seat as far as I can tell but Alexander grabs my hand and pulls me to the back where a well built blond boy and a nerd sit together in one side of the booth. I let Alexander slide in first before I sit down next to him.

"Hi I'm Jace Wayland," the blond boy says and he holds out his hand. I grasp it firmly and meet his eyes, feeling a sense of satisfaction as looks away. Most people have never seen my eye color before and become extremely uncomfortable when I look them in the eyes. Jace looks down at the menu and drops my hand quickly as if it burned him.

"I'm Magnus Bane," I tell him even though our hands are no longer touching.

I turn now towards the nerd who wears a thick pair of black glasses and has curly short brown hair. He's actually kind of nerd hot to be honest and he offers me a genuine smile filled with lots of pearly white teeth.

"I'm Simon Lewis," he tells me and shakes my hand, unafraid of my eyes. I actually smile back at him and feel a sense of comfort in this nerdy boy.

"I'm Alec Lightwood," Alexander says smoothly and shakes the nerd's hand firmly and flashes his killer smile.

"So Magnus, I heard that you gave Alec some trouble last night," Jace says, taking a sip of his water that sits in front of him.

I look over at Alexander who gives me a guilty little smile. He will pay for that one I swear.

"Define 'trouble'," I say slowly and Simon lets out a little laugh. I raise a brow at him but he's looking at Jace.

"Trouble is something that causes another person harm," Jace tells me sincerely with a frown. I laugh forcibly and scan the menu.

"I didn't harm him Jace and if I were you I'd try not to accuse someone you just met of harming their friend," I warn him flatly and he nods and smiles. I feel Alec's hand squeeze my knee.

"Message received asshole," the cocky blond winks and smiles. I glare at him from across the table until I hear the nerd clear his throat.

"Have you guys decided what you want to drink?" Asks a pretty blond girl from the edge of our table.

Her hair is pulled into a messy bun and her clear green eyes scan us with acute interest. Her name tag reads Jessica and I think it suits her perfectly. I offer her a warm smile and she flushes deeply. She's cute in a comfortable sweet kind of way but my sights are set on something a little different.

"Oh yes, can I have coffee," Jace speaks up first as Alec and Simon still rifle through their menus.

Jessica nods her head and scribbles his order down on her small note pad.

"I'll have chai tea," I tell her and she blushes as if I just told her to pull up her skirt. She writes that down too and turns towards Alec.

"I'll have what he's having," Alec says and gestures towards me. A faint smile curves my lips as she takes down his order and finally turns to Simon.

"Water would be fine thanks," he says and flashes her a cute dimpled smile. She nods and walks away with our requests.

With that out of the way Jace turns towards me with bright green eyes.

"So what are you studying?" He asks me with an odd sense of curiosity coating his words.

"Criminal law," I say and Alec turns towards me in surprise.

"Really?" He asks me in disbelief.

Yes people, criminal law. I'm good at arguing and hate anything math or science related so I decided to give this a try. Honestly I didn't really have any plans for my future but this seemed interesting and I was accepted eagerly.

"Yes Alexander, despite popular belief I'm not stupid," I roll my eyes and he blushes.

"I never said you were stupid," he mumbles under his breath apologetically. I squeeze his thigh because I'm not offended and he loosens significantly.

"Soooo now that we've got that cleared up," Jace mocks with a sneer and I feel the faint urge to lean across the table and punch him in his jaw. I try to restrain myself for Alec's sake because I want him to be happy and not pissed at me. Before I can say anything in response to blond asshole over there, Jessica walks over with our drinks on a tray. She hands us each our drink and tucks the tray underneath her arm.

"Ok so breakfast?" She questions and tugs her lip in between her teeth. Jace eyes her blatantly and his lips curve in a devilish grin.

"I'll have pancakes," Jace says as if pancakes are the sexiest word in his vocabulary and she blushes regardless. I roll my eyes at the display and look up at her with a smile.

"Strawberry waffles," I tell her and she seems reassured by my smile. She blushes and her cheeks dimple as she writes down my order.

On a normal occasion I'd leave my number behind, I'd press it into her hand quickly before I leave. I'd wait a couple hours until her shift ends and she'd text me, telling me more about herself. I'd casually take her out to dinner that night and we'd come back to my place. I'd do what I want to her and she's savor every moment of it. I know I sound cocky but some things are proven regardless of my dignity. I restrain myself today because I want Alec more than I want her, or anyone else at the moment. I'm sure he's worth waiting for.

They all place their orders and we sit and chat for a small while about campus and our family before we eat. The food was amazing and the company was sub par. I can almost legally say that I hate Jace as much as I hate spinach. He puts me in an overall bad mood and I glared at him almost the entire meal.

Alec seemed surprisingly happy and at ease the entire meal which made me feel slightly better. He laughed often and he kept touching my leg with his, or with his hand. I like when he laughs, it makes me happy. Usually I get joy from accomplishing something, having sex, or hanging out with Ragnor but he adds to the list. I wish I could bottle his laughter and keep it in a seashell necklace like in the little mermaid. For now I keep it tucked away in my mind, waiting to be pulled out and admired.

Finally after what seems like hours we leave the restaurant and part ways, leaving me and Alec alone at last.

"So what did you think?"Alec asks as we make our way across the city towards campus. I give him a sideways look and raise a brow at him.

"Jace is an ass," I tell him flatly and he laughs out loud. Oh god I love that so much.

"Thanks for being so honest," he tells me sincerely and I purse my lips, keeping my eyes on the road that we're walking on.

"I live to serve," I mutter dryly, earning another chuckle from him.

"Come one, it wasn't that bad," he soothes, gently looping my arm with his.  I sigh and gaze up at the sky which is a cloudless blue color that reminds me of oceans and tear drops.

"If you had fun that's all I care about," I tell him honestly and he stops walking abruptly. He looks shocked and he backs up another step.

"You don't mean that," he jokes hollowly and I tilt my head.

"Is it so hard for you to imagine that maybe I care about other people but myself?" I scoff lightly but he doesn't walk with me when I take several strides towards the bus stop. I stop and glance back at him but he looks almost sad.

"No one has ever said something like that to me," he explains, walking towards me slowly with uncertainty tainting his features. I flash him a sad smile and hold out my arm. He grabs it and falls into step with me.

"Well someone should," I tell him and he smiles gratefully.

"Thank you, it really means a lot-" I press my fingers to his lips, stoping the words from leaving those soft lips of his.

"No need to thank me, I'm just telling the truth," I say simply and his lips spread into a wide grin underneath my fingers.

We walk a little while in silence until we reach the intersection between our campus and the rest of the city. I should really get some clothes while I'm out considering my low supply at home.

"I'm gonna go get some clothes, if you wanna head back you can," I tell him but I'd prefer if he stayed with me. Goodness knows what could happen to that pretty boy if he walked into the city alone.

"Nah I'll stay with you, so where do you wanna go?" He asks and reconnects our arms.
