NAMJOON : hoseok, hey! i wanted to thank you, oh my gosh. you saved my life.

HOSEOK : [ laughs lightly ] what for?

NAMJOON : the notes you lent me, thank you for them. i would've died. i literally fell asleep for so long through his lecture, and nobody next to me woke me up. god, i fell asleep for a whole two hours when professor kang was lecturing! i don't even know why i was so tired today, but thank you. you saved my life.

HOSEOK : ah, of course! anything to help a friend of mine out—how is his calculus lectures? i hated that class so much, if i hadn't even decided to do engineering, i wouldn't even had to have taken that class, but i did before i switched my major. super unfortunate.

NAMJOON : you're right, he always gives us such bullshit questions on exams... anyways, how are you holding up? i heard that the apartment across your street caught fire. i'm sorry.

HOSEOK : don't be, i'm not even hurt. [ hesitates ] a-and i'm good, no worries.

NAMJOON : hm. oh, okay. nice to hear your voice after a while. speaking of which, do you want to meet up sometime? i'll text you the details, i'm kinda busy right now.

HOSEOK : o-of course, yeah. see you later, namjoon. text me.

NAMJOON : [ CALL ENDED : 3:09 ]

HOSEOK : [ muttering quietly to himself ] ah... should i tell someone about this? i don't know... is it even real? should i wait it out? [ pauses ] ah, shit. i should probably get some coffee—i'm so tired but i don't want to sleep... it scares me.

such a short ass update although it's been a long time since i have LOL anyways i'm super sorry for the filler chapters omg. i'm trying to figure out what to write and trying to plan for a sequel for DOPPELGÄNGER (: pls be patient my bbys !!
