I woke up, sobbing. Strong arms embraced me in a tight, reassuring hug. " Did my awesomeness accidentally cause nightmares?" Shaking my head, I replied to my dear Prussia "Can you die from a car wreck?" He scoffed, "Nein! It takes more then zhat to kill the awesome me!" I smiled in return. "Mommy, why are you crying?" Turning around, I whisper to the sweet child," grown ups can have nightmares too. Now, what are you doing up. It's 3am and you have school today!" The child sighed, "yes mommy, night daddy!" Scurrying off, the child went back to their room and went to sleep.
"What was zhat nightmare about?" My husband said, sounding concerned. "Nothing of importance, you're ok and that's all that matters."
