Hi Liam,

I'm sad that you had to leave but I had such an awesome time with you. Mum said that we're going to do this at least once a year, since she misses Ms Karen so much! Mum told me to tell you that I could write about my favorite parts of you visiting.. so I guess I will!

I liked when we went to the playground and we made that really tall sandcastle and then you kicked it and it fell over. Or when we went to the skating rink and you helped me not fall! I also liked shopping in the city, the ferris wheel is fun! I'm glad we got the Toy Story car. Ruth and Nicola sure do shop a lot.

I start up school again tomorrow. I hope I have cool classmates! Remember Amanda? She came by when you visited. She's in my class this year, she's really funny! She told me that she liked you but she likes a lot of boys. She has a boyfriend, did you know that? Apparently if you have a boyfriend you're cool. I wish I had a boyfriend so I could be cool.

Oh, I have to go. Mum is taking me school shopping! Bye, Liam! Talk to you later.

Hi April,

I had so much fun in New York with you. Thank you letting us come! Next time you should come to Wolverhampton. Andy wants to meet you. There is also a new ice skating rink here! It's really big and it has a little shop above it that sells hot chocolate. It's really good hot chocolate.. It has those little marshmellows that you like.

You're cool, even without a boyfriend.. Don't worry! Do you know Meggy? She's blonde and has brown eyes. She follows me around at school and Andy keeps saying she likes me. I don't like her though, she's clingy. Apparently she dated Peter last year but I don't know if I believe it! Mum says we're too young for relationships anyways. Nicola has a boyfriend. Since she's older, it's okay, mum says. We don't get to do anything cool since we're young. 

I have a week before school starts again and it's getting cold! We have to wear jackets when we want to go out now.
