FOUR
(A/N Honestly this story is so cringe worthy at this point, but enjoy reading my crap)
Four days later, you had gone through a few days of training. You found out why you are just camped here: To keep the redcoats from invading the city. You are now good friends with Burr, sitting with him every afternoon and discussing various books and authors. And you have ran into the Hamilsquad a few other times.
Now you are sitting in a tree, eating an apple for breakfast and writing in your notebook. You are grateful that your training is over, it makes you feel safer. You now know how to fire a rifle, with the bayonet attached, and how to sneak up on other soldiers and break into their camp.
You are thoughtfully writing and sketching in your book when a soldier comes running by shouting, "Redcoats! Redcoats coming from the southwest!" You sit for a moment processing the information, then jump down the tree and run to your tent. You towards the southwest, and see an army of red coming over a hill. You grab your gun, and finally realize what's happening. You are about to go into a battle, and your life. But this is a one of a kind opportunity, and you are going to take it!
After receiving orders about where to stand, you walk with the crowd around you towards the enemy army. Everything is in a blur, time is passing quickly, until you finally wake up and realize what you are doing. You raise your gun to shoot a soldier, but realize you can not bring yourself to shoot him, to take the life of another person.
You slowly lower your gun, oblivious of your surroundings when suddenly an arm is wrapped around your neck and a hand is pressing a cloth over your mouth and nose. It smells like some strong chemical, and you can feel yourself already get dizzy. You scream and kick as the person drags you along, but in the chaos of the battle around you, nobody notices. You try to reach around to scratch your captor, the only available defense at the moment, but you are unable to harm him because of his thick coat. You make yourself go limp, but it is too late, because two people throw you onto a carriage. The last thing you hear is someone saying, "Let's go," then everything goes black.
