Chapter Thirty-One

Chapter Start!

Cole carried Hector, the two walked slow, and quiet...

Hector watching behind them, and Cole looking ahead.

They walked for some time until Cole stopped, putting Hector down. He quietly pulled his sketch book out, and started drawing something.

"Cole!" Hector through his hands up, "What Are You Doing!?"

"Drawing" Cole said simply.

"Cole! There's A Monster Roaming Around Trying To Kill Us!" Hector seemed frantic now.

"That's why we need a map" Cole looked up at the kid. "If we have a map, maybe we can get around a little easier." He looked around, pulling his now long flowing hair out of his face.

He was annoyed to be a girl now.

"Wait, a map!?" Hector ran over to him, and looked over his shoulder.

"Yeah, let's see, so I took about 7 steps getting away down this hall, and I was running so... about this much and let's see, we turned left, right, right, Left, strait, left, left, right..." he looked around, the guessed how far this hall was.

He draw said map, and looked at the small child.

"Alright, let's start walking"

The two set out, and about an hour of mapping later, they found their way to a door...

The door was tall, and in the ruin letters, it read "As Water flow out, light must find a way in"

Cole looked at it, then at the small child next to him.

"Any ideas?" he shrugged to the small scientist.

"Well, Let's see..." he made his way over, "It looks like this from outside, and it mentions water..." he looked around the door, then onto the bottom.

"Oh!" Hector smiled, jumping up, "Make a light ball!"

Cole gave him a look, but did it anyways, "Now try shrinking it" Hector told him.

Cole gave him another look, and sighed, "Alright..." he flicked it, and the baseball sized ball of light turned to a marble sized sun.

"Now what?" he asked, "Remember what Gil did with the front door? Well this one is like that, but for light!" Hector gave a grin.

"So... like this?" Cole popped the orb into a small key hole, and a part of the door lit up.

"Yes! Like That!" Hector was excited now.

They did this for some time, until the door finally opened, it lead to an open area, where two other door lead too.

Another door was set up a few steps, it was bigger, and loomed over the two.

They were going to walk over, but one of the other doors opened...

And stepped out was...

The battle areas where long, and hard, but Gil and Daisy fought harder, and made their way through, moving south as they did.

The two soon made it to the ruins of beasts.

"What happened here!?" Gil basically yelled.

"It looks like we're not the only ones taking this trial..." adult Daisy spoke.

"Yeah, I got that" Gil said, making his way into the area, "It looked like fire... does that mean..."

He away about to talk more, but to small figures attacked him.

He fell to the ground, looking up to see Jaylen, and young Rita laughing, and sitting on him.

"Hi Gil!" Rita smiled.

"Hi Rita" Gil sighed, "So, you two teamed up?"

"Well considering there are three ten year olds running around here, there's a good change we would have ran into each other." She shrugged.

"Yeah, we looked everywhere, but we never found Hector, I hope he found someone, I don't want him running around... Alone" Jaylen sighed, but then looked up, to see the older version of Daisy.

He got up, and walked over to her...

...

"Daisy!" Jaylen hugged her, and started crying, "I Missed You! I Can't Find Hector! And I Don't Know What To Do! So When Rita Found Me, I Thought We Could Find Everyone! We Finally Found Someone!" they could barley understand him through his sobs.

Daisy gave a laugh, "Calm down, we'll be out of here soon, and everything will be fine"

Jaylen nodded, and stepped back, "okay" he croaked out.

The team set out, and soon found themselves at a large door, they looked around the area, but saw the two other doors to this area destroyed.

They were alone, but had to continue.

Emmy looked around, she was in another area, it was darker, but a beast dropped in, it was dark, and shadowed.

"Well that's Dark!" she smiled on her manly face.

The beast was shadowed, its claws where long, and it ran on all fours, the beast looked to have tusks, and its eyes glow red through the darkened air.

The beast let out a rawer, then charged at her, she flipped out of the way, and through a dagger, piercing its molten flesh, the beast moved, unwilling to yield.

She span around, and dug her sword into its flesh, but the beast looked to get even more angry.

"Ahahaha..." She laughed, and moved fast to get away.

The beast seemed to have screamed, then irrupted into flames.

"Wow, I guess he's heating up" she giggled, and throw another dagger, then jumped from its next charge.

After some tome, she found that every time she stabbed it, its element changed.

Darkness to fire, fire to earth, earth to water, water to air, and air to light.

She smirked; she can fight a light beast with darkness.

After forming shadows of herself, she attacked the being, and it fell, the room lit back up, the shadow lifted, and there, stood a door.

Emmy made her way to it, shoved a shadow into it, and picked the lock.

When it opened, it was an open area, not like the arenas.

"Emmy?"

Emmy turned, to see lady Cole and silver haired Hector.

"Ah..." she spoke, "So that's where it goes..." Emmy made her way over to the two, and looked at them, "How long have you been standing here?"

"Well we got out here, then your door opened, so... 5 seconds?" Cole questioned.

"Right, Right" Emmy shrugged.

She was about to say something else, but the last door opened, stepping out- running out, where water Ryan, scarecrow Ralph and Wind Sprite Silvia.

Behind them was a blob of water, it had guts, but they swirled around inside of it.

The three saw the others, and ran towards them, "Help Us!" they screamed.

Emmy sighed, pulling her hand up, she aimed it, "Cole" she said annoyed. "Aim and shoot"

The teen got this idea, and pulled his gun out, then he and Emmy started shooting the guts inside the blob.

When they all fell out, the blob fell into a puddle.

They looked at Ryan, Ralph and Silvia.

Then sighed, it's time to see what's behind the large door.

Cole, Hector, Emmy, Silvia, Ryan and Ralph – Northern Field

Gil, Rita, Jaylen and Daisy – Southern Field

Chapter End!

Hey guys! I guess I counted wrong, and found that, I was a week off! This week is going to be CRAZY for me! I was planning for it to be next Monday to be the "I can't do this week" chapter, but, I was off by 1! D:

So ah... if I miss next week, don't get mad, or go crazy! I just can't do the time for it.

But after this week is done, then well I'm open to write again! :D
