Prolouge
(Remember ClearEyes and Charcoal? This is their daughter. Their third child. Also, this is about a NIGHTWING. Not a fantribe called QuietWings.)
The dragonet pushed against the walls of the egg. Hearing her parents voices outside. She was scared, and excited. Kicking more and more.
"ClearEyes! It's silver! She must be a prophet or mind reader."
She heard a voice say. This must've been father.
"I wish I could see it. She'll be beautiful, even if I can never see her."
This was mother. The dragonet continued pushing until the a crack appeared in the egg.
"She's coming out!" Her father had shouted, startling her a little.
The walls fell away around the egg. A small dragonet sat there, strangely silver scales shining in the light.
"She's beautiful."
(Altering appearances here. To their original colors.)
Her father had strange colors. White fading into gray, to black, to gray, to white, to gray, to black, all over. He had normal inside wings though.
"Just like her mother." ClearEyes-
That seemed to be mother's name, looked over at father. A smile on her face. (She knows his direction.) Together, they stepped forward to their daughter, who seemed to be trying to talk.
But there wasn't any sound coming out at all.
"What?"
Her father stared at her, confused.
"Whats wrong Charcoal? Is it with her?"
Panic starting rising in her voice. The little dragonet wanted to go over and hug her leg.
"She won't-
Or can't, speak."
Charcoal said in a shaky voice.
"Whats wrong with that? I'm blind. I'm perfectly fine."
"But how will she communicate?"
The dragonet did see a future though. When she was 6 months old.
She'd be able to tell them after that. But she felt like it was just her imagination.
ClearEyes walked in the direction of her daughter, who immediately stumbled forward and fell, being picked up after by ClearEyes. She stared at her, a bright blue filled her eyes as she stared into her mother's similar color.
"I want to name her... QuietWings." ClearEyes said with a small smile towards her dragonet.
"Its a pretty name." Agreed Charcoal with a smile on his face too, nodding.
QuietWings shifted her gaze up at her father, silently, giving a teeny smile-
Or something that resembled a smile. She was only trying to mimic her father...
QuietWings turned in her mother's talons to face off the balcony of which she hatched in the Rain Kingdom. Looking down at the beauty below.
She liked this world already.
It seemed like fun lay ahead of her.
Mixed in with lots of mischief, distrust, dishonesty, and betrayal that is.
