Finally
Annie woke up and ran to the kitchen. Once again her parents forgot about her. They didn't cook her breakfast since first grade. This was the one time she was okay with them forgetting her even though she was their only child. Mom was probably sleeping with another random man again. Dad on the other hand was probably with his mistress of three years. She didn't care today. Annie was never going to care again.
Next she ran to the bathroom to change into her outfit that she wanted to die in. It was a pretty black dress with long sleeves. Soon she put her hair up in braids and began to put makeup over her self harm cuts on her arms as well as her face. She hated it. Her eyes began to tear up as she got a message as she got a message from one of the most popular kids again. She read it.
"You're nothing more than a chubby,slutty freak."
Yup. Same shit different more happy day. Annie picked out her favourite pair of shoes and put them on. She was about to leave when she saw her yellow cardigan. So she grabbed it to put on a recess. Quickly she grabbed her school stuff and head to school.
As Annie sat down at her desk there was a vase full of ten lilies which at school were basically a sigh of say I wish you were dead. Thousand of words were written on her desk that other people thought described her. They were all hurtful ones. With a sigh Annie sat down and looked at the desk. She froze. There was a new word on it in gold ink.
"Friend."
What? That's not true. All her friends left her after the bullying got to bad. Just then a girl leaned over her desk. Annie sighed and looked up only to see a blonde girl with braids. The girl's blue eyes light up once she saw Annie looked up. In her hands was a golden inked marker.
"Hi. You probably don't remember me. My name's Tina. You talked me out of doing something two weeks ago." The girl smiled at her. Annie sat there pretending not to hear her but, the girl just kept smiling.
"Well I have to go back to class. I just wanted to thank you." Tina smiled waving goodbye. Annie waved goodbye with a smile as Tins walked out the door. Then a crumpled up pice of paper his the back of her skull. She opened it of course.
"Chubby, slutty, freaky, ugly cutter. Kill you self so I don't have to look at you for much longer.
-yana"
Annie turned around seeing Ayana in a bright red dress. Ugh. Well all she was finally doing what Ayana wanted. She wouldn't have to go threw this again. Hopefully. Just then someone removed the liles that were still on the desk. It was a short girl with her newly dyed purple hair in pigtails. She walked over to the garbage and threw all the flowers out.
"There's where all the lies go. Anyway I wanted to thank you for what you did two weeks ago for me. Plus those people are wrong. Just ignore them. I have to head back to class. I-"She smiled at Annie. The girl was cut off by a red haired girl running in with a box of cookies.
"Sam!" The red haired smiled.
"Hi Laura." The purple haired short girl smiled at the red haired one. She placed the book on the table.
"I just wanted to thank you for what you did for me last Monday. So I made you cookies. Well I gotta drag my friend back to class. We'll see you around." Laura smiled waving goodbye with Sam as they left.
Soon it was recess. As Annie ran to the roof top she was stopped by a brunette with her hair shaved to one side and was wearing ripped jeans.
"Hi. I don't know if you remember me but, I'm Alice. You talked me out of doing something two Wednesdays ago. So I just want you to know you can always talk to me if you need anything." The girl smiled. Annie froze. Was this the same girl who thought that thought herself was nothing more slut thanks to others? Wow. She changed over the weeks. Maybe-. No. She waited two weeks almost three now for this.
"I have to go. I'll talk to you soon." Annie lied running off. She reached the bottom of the stairs only to be hugged by a chubby brunette. It was the girl she helped on Thursday two weeks ago. She talked to her about how she wasn't what others thought she was and thanking her. Annie faked a smile just to get her to leave. Soon she was back on the roof.
There was no one here today. It's just Annie, herself and her. No one was there to interfere. Nobody to get in her way here. Annie took of her black shoes and climbed over the railing. Taking of her yellow cardigan revealing all the cuts. Watching as her her short braids came undone. Her red bracelet which she had just put on hugged her wrist tightly. It seemed to be the only thing comforting her right now. She took a deep breath. This brunette, chubby, slutty girl as short as can be is going to jump now and be free.
As she pushed herself forward someone grabbed onto her wrist as tightly as possible. Annie's dark brown eyes filled with tears looking at who had stopped her. It was a tiny girl she knew. The cousin who had just stared school two weeks ago.
"Hey cousin, don't do it." Her younger cousin stated. Annie climbed back over the railing and cried on her cousins shoulder telling her everything she could.
"Shh. It's okay. You can tell me everything. You're not alone anymore." Her cousin stated hugging her as tightly as possible. A fifteen year old Miku fixed her long teal hair while hugging her older cousin as tightly as possible. Her large teal eyes began to fill with tears. She almost lost her best friend. The only one who supported her wish to sing in front of others for a living. Annie's sobs got even louder. Miku kept repeating her self in tears ignoring the bell which was ringing and her phone buzzing from her mother who she had texted when she first saw that Annie was just about to jump.
"You're not alone anymore."
Miku snapped back to reality as she finished the first song she wrote about her cousin's depression and her sucide attempts. The droid went wild. She wrote more about her afterwards for those going threw the same thing her cousin went threw. Just so they knew they weren't alone. There was always someone you could talk to about it. Her teal eyes searched threw the crowd to see her now eighteen year old cousin Annie smiling with all her friends who she had talked out of the same thing she attempted to do so many times. The second their eyes met they smiled at each other. What would they do without each other?
