Ryad stared blankly at the plain white ceiling waiting for day to come. He had ran out of pills and friends that were willing to pull a few all nighters with him. His partner in crime was still off on a deployment and he hated that he wasn't able to go with her.

Minutes had passed when a soft knocking sound filled the room. "It's unlocked." He said monotonously eyes tracing a crack on the ceiling. The person wrestled with the door knob a bit before nearly falling into the room when it opened.

"Unlocked my ass!" That voiced belonged to the most important person in the world. Y/n stood in the middle of his room with a dorky smile on her face and a coffee mug full of tea in her hand. Though her smile only widened when he launched up to tackle her into a hug.

"If I had known you were coming I would have left it open." He clung to Y/n trying not to spill her drink. Most of his other lovers disliked his need of always wanting to touch them or be near them. Ryad simply didn't want to lose another person close to him. "I missed you so much." Y/n echoed the words kissing his forehead. There would be lots of catching up to do in the following days for now they sleep.
