Personality: Raven is anything but cooperative. She is extremely rebellious and stubborn. She would do anything to get out of being a surrogate. But the Duchess of the Stone breaks her and performs experiments on her. From this she has become very frail. She still is stubborn, refusing to accept this type of life style.
Backstory: When Raven was 12 she passed her surrogate test and was transferred to Southgate. This forced her to leave her mom, dad, and brother Crow behind. One year after her transfer Raven met Violet Lasting. They became friends and Raven even helped Violet with the first augury. She also confides in Violet that she failed her first year at Southgate on purpose. A small sign of rebellion that she didn't want to pass and be forced into this life. She is now the surrogate to the Duchess of the Stone, who is much less interested in having a child then using Raven to experiment on. This caused Raven to become frail and hear voices in her head that warn her when someone is in danger.
Thoughts on being a surrogate: she hates it. And she doesn't keep it a secret. She is not afraid to not follow directions, or disobey. She is very rebellious and stubborn and will show how unhappy (about being a surrogate) she is.
Thoughts on the royals: in short she does not like them. She thinks they're stuck up and stupid, and shouldn't have the position and authority that they do.
Strengths: She has voices in her head that warn her if someone's in danger, she has a sting willpower and is not afraid to rebel, she is strong minded and can endure a lot.
Weaknesses: she has become frail from the experimentation and other punishments from the Duchess, she has a tough and rebellious façade but never wants to see her friends or allies hurt.
Fears: Her friends or allies being hurt or in danger, being stuck as a surrogate forever, never seeing her friends again, not knowing of her friends are okay
