Mark was training to learn some abilities from the Creation Clan until he's almost running out of stamina.

Mark:  Dang it, I'm just so close to mastering ice and lightning, but not flame manipulation.

   Mark laid down on the grass and watch Zukini and Lupin training each other in combat.

Mark:  Still, I wonder if I could protect Lupin if I can before we fight against Darcia and that dude again.

   A grackle was watching Lupin and Zukini training and lands on lands on Mark's head.

Mark:  Oh? Hello there, friend. What brings you here?

Grackle:  *tweets in response*

Mark:  Hm, you do seem to be hungry. Don't worry, I'll feed you.

    Suddenly, the grackle flies away from Mark and headed towards the tree to watch Lupin and Zukini finishing their training.

Lupin:  Man, how can transform into Super Saiyan 3?!

Zukini:  I think about everyone that died to protect me and the world.

Lupin:  Yeah, I hope that someone would protect everyone. Also, I don't mind having Mark by my side because he wants to avenge his family. When we fight Darcia, I just hope that you would visit me in my homecity and we could try to relax and have fun.

Zukini:  Yeah.

    Suddenly, Zukini sense someone nearby as she, Mark, and Lupin were ready to face them until they saw a man with silver hair and yellow eyes.

Shion:  Hey.

    Lupin was shocked and confused that her father was standing before her and approaching her.

Lupin: *voice cracking* Dad, I... I'm so sorry! I- I should've stayed, and I should've wait for the others to come! I'd-- I just... *tears start pouring from her eyes* I wasn't sure if they wanted me around and--

Suddenly, her father gives her a strong hug. Lupin's lips quiver, and she looks toward her father.

Shion: It's okay. I'm glad that you're okay. *smiles at her and pet her hair*

    Lupin sobs as she leans into her father's hug.

Lupin: I miss you.

    Mark and Zukini watch Lupin happily reunited with her father as they were thinking about having a party for them.

    At a dark throne

    Darcia was sitting on her throne as she was thinking about a way to defeat Mark and Lupin.

Darcia: I will not allow them to ruin this! Those name has brought me nothing but rage!

    Visibly upset, Darcia brings her hand to face to compose herself.

Darcia:  You've done well in finding them, Aspen. Bring them to me, alive. But not before you've slaughtered their new friends. I have a promise to keep.

    Aspen nodded as he plans to fight Lupin again and plays around with his dagger.
