"I promise."

A/N This is my secret santa gift to @Jstar1992!!! I'm really sorry if you absolutely hate it - romance is not my forte. Nevertheless, I hope you like it!!

Andy pulled the honey cake out of the oven, once again thanking Chiron silently for letting her use the kitchen. It was one of the places she felt most comfortable, considering her shyness. The harpies never bothered her, and it had a homey feel.

Percy had been hinting at a surprise all day though, so she was a little more curious than calm. Sighing, Andy set the cake down to cool and wiped her hands clean, then left the kitchen.

Once she was back in the Demeter cabin, she headed directly for her bed, sparing a faint smile at Katie Gardner, who was packing dirt around a new plant. However, on her bed was a small package.

" Percy brought it over a few minutes ago. He also left this note," Katie said, handing over a small scrap of paper.

Andy glanced at it. MEET ME ON THE BEACH, it said in Percy's messy handwriting. Smiling, she reached for the package, and opened it carefully.

Inside was a full set of jewelry, which it seemed Percy had designed himself. There was a leather cord with a simple compass attached to the end, like the one you might find on a ship. A blue bracelet with an anchor. Coral earrings. And a beautiful silver ring, with her and Percy's name written in Greek on the inside.

Andy smiled and slipped the ring on, followed by the necklace. Then she headed out the door, still smiling.

" Bye Andy," Katie called after her.

   " Bye Katie."

Andy headed for the beach, slipping and sliding her way down a small hill. At the bottom, she dusted herself off and continued on. As she passed a rock, she sighed, knowing Percy was probably behind it. She continued walking though, as if Percy wasn't there.

Not two seconds after she passed it, hands covered her eyes and a voice said, " Guess who!"

Andy rolled her eyes even though she knew Percy couldn't see it. " Percy."

   " Nope."

   " Seaweed Brain?"

   " Nope."

   " Nemo..."

   " Yay! You got it!"

" Gods, you're obsessed with Finding Dory!"

   " It's good!"

" Whatever you say, Perce," Andy said, kissing his nose. " What did you want to show me?"

" C'mere!" Percy said excitedly, dragging her towards the water. Andy rolled her eyes again and followed her boyfriend into the sea.

Pretty soon, a bubble had engulfed her as they drifted away from the sun above.

" Percy? Where are we going?"

Percy held a finger to his lips, his black hair floating around his head. He smiled and continued guiding the bubble deeper.

Just when Andy thought she was going to have to stop him, they stopped in front of a dark hole. Percy poked his head through the edge of the bubble and told her to cover her eyes.

Andy complied, curious to where this was going. Covering her eyes, she felt the bubble moving again.

" Okay you can open them now." Andy pulled her hands away and gasped. She hadn't even noticed she wasn't in the bubble now. She was in a cave, a cave covered in crystals. Percy had obviously decorated painstakingly - there were Christmas lights strung all over the top of the ceiling, mistletoe above her head, a set table in the middle, and a tree in a corner.

" Why isn't the tree-" Andy was cut off as Percy spun her around and gave her a kiss.

" Sorry - we're under mistletoe," he winked. Andy felt a giggle rising in her throat.

" As I was saying, why isn't the tree decorated?"

" So we can decorate together, of course!"

I won't go into detail, but I can say it was a very festive event, that ended with tinsel all over the floor and each other.

Afterwards, they shared a meal, laughing about the good times they'd had since they started dating a year ago.

When dinner was over, Percy brought Andy to a ladder she hadn't noticed before. They climbed up, and Andy gasped.

It was a very beautiful lookout point (they weren't as deep as she'd originally thought), and the night sky was speckled with stars. It was incredibly beautiful, and Andy snuggled up against Percy, looking up.

" Look. There's Perseus, the constellation."

" Of course you would know that one," Andy giggled.

" Why wouldn't I?" Then Percy's mood grew somber, and he lifted his eyes to the sky again. " And that one's called the Huntress, for Zöe Nightshade. You remember her?"

" Of course. She was on the quest to save me and Lady Artemis."

" Yeah." The couple grew quiet for awhile, watching the sky, living in memories, and silently laughing at Jason and Piper in the sky as he dropped a bouquet of roses he had for her.

" You know what this is?" Percy said suddenly, lifting up her hand with the ring.

" What is it?" Andy yawned, only half paying attention.

   " A promise ring."

   " About what?"

   " Never leaving you."

" Really? You'll never leave me?" Andy asked, blinking away sleep, and failing.

The last words she heard before slipping into a comfortable sleep was, " I promise."

A/N I'm kinda lacking on Christmas, but I hope I made up for it with romance and fluff.
