(This was my English homework. We were supposed to write our own sijo. This is actually the first sijo I've ever written. I'm not very good at it. 😊)

The moon glowed bright in the night sky,
It reminded me of home.
Hills and fields disappeared from sight.
The rainbows are gone, along with the sunlight.
Colors were replaced with dull gray.
Confused and alone, I ran away.
