SPECIES: Half Leprechaun-Half Svartalfar
PERSONALITY: Inquisitive by nature and fond of good company, as well as passionate about tea, Silvio is as full of quirks as the rest of them. Optimistic in all aspects of life he tries to always look on the sunny side of things rather than dwell on the negative. He has a kind disposition and always carries an air of energeticness. He is fascinated by things that he must figure out and is constantly trying to learn as much as he can about the world and everything in it. Easygoing by nature he isn't one to get riled very easily though when it arises he can have an explosive temper. Studious and time-conscious it is hard for him to accept the smallest of failures from himself and he strives to accomplish each and every goal in stride and on time. Silvio is a stalwart ally and a bitter enemy but if you are willing you will hardly find any truer friend.
APPEARANCE: Silvio has long flowing black hair, usually tied up by a purple ribbon, that reaches about to his mid-thigh. He has long bangs that hang down and frame his face, with those on the left side falling down into his face. He has a dark  tan complexion and is fairly slim in build, though not quite skinny, standing at about 5'10". His eyes are a deep ocean-blue although his left eye appears rather foggy due to an accident as a child. He keeps a black eyepatch over it that buckles in the back as not to fall off easily.
Due to his Svartalfar half he sports a pair of small canines on both his upper and lower jaw (with those on the top being longer than those on the bottom) as well as slightly pointed ears. His usual wardrobe consists of black leggings tucked into tall dark brown boots and a belt tied around his waist supporting a few pouches. For a shirt he wears a mid-thigh length plum purple tunic with brown embroidery along the waist, sleeves, collar, and bottom. Over his tunic he dons a long dark midnight-purple coat with wide sleeves, wooden buttons, and a commonly unused sash around the waist to tie it together. 
STRENGTHS: spells, charms, potions, legibility of handwriting, doing his best to remain calm in serious situations (*note: he's not super amazing at spells/etc just better at that than say fighting or dragon training...)
WEAKNESSES: hand-to-hand combat, near-blind in his left eye, tendency to think too hard when he should act instead
LIKES: music, reading, a good cup of chamomile tea, satisfying his thirst for knowledge, cooking, and organization.
DISLIKES: messiness, tardiness, pickled foods, insensitivity towards others, and hot water (has nothing to do with his past).
PREFERRED WEAPON: staff
BACKSTORY: (shall be brief) Adopted by a nice Elf couple they're the only family he's ever known. Silvio grew up in a happy home and has never felt the need to search for his biological parents as he's content to claim his adoptive parents as his true mother and father. Quite the little adventurer Silvio has always had a knack for finding himself in a pickle at times, even once winding up in a troll's den by accident and managing to turn over a small pot of boiling water onto himself when he was five (which landed on his face and rendered him near blind in his left eye). But over time Florence and Aureliana helped shape him into a fine, respectful, young man.
Silvio decided, with his parents support, to join The School of Dragon Riders to better learn about the world and perhaps make a new friend in the form of a newborn scaly acquaintance.

OTHER: Considered childish or not Silvio keeps a small golden locket on a chain around his neck that holds a picture of his adoptive parents. Due to being half Leprechaun he is naturally inclined towards magic though still has to do much studying and experimenting to be able to perform spells and such. He almost always seems to have some sort of book with him most of the time...
