(Skyrim AU where Farkas and my OC Katundra are Cops who have known each other for a long time.)

It was only 6AM and he was awake, and so was she. Kat grabbed her phone, and dialed his number. "Hello?" A deep voice answered, "Hey, your up?" She asked, "No. I'm quite obviously sleeping." He said sarcastically with a chuckle. She rolled her eyes, even though he couldn't see it.

"Mind if I come over?" She asked, "Sure, I don't care." He replied. "Cool, see you in 15." She stated hanging up. She got dressed and drove to his house. When she arrived he was sitting on the porch steps. "Awwe were you waiting for me?" She asked, hands on her hips. "hah, you wish.... actually yes." He admitted with a smirk.

"So, what'd you wanna do?" Kat asked, "You were the one who wanted to come over before our shift at 9." Farkas replied, arms crossed. "Well, I was awake and bored!" She stated. He just laughed, "how about we go for a run?" He suggested. "Uhh, I don't know." "C'mon" He started "It'll be fun!" He exclaimed.

"I don't have any running clothes." Said Kat. "I might have something that'll fit you." He said, walking inside, Kat following behind. "By have something, you mean your clothes that you shrunk because you can't do laundry?" He asked, smirking. "No." He said, acting innocent. "You are ridiculous." Kat said, following him into his room.

"Here" He said, throwing a pair of sweats and an old t-shirt at her. She took them off her face, and went into the Bathroom to get changed. Once she was ready they went back outside into the cold morning air. "Ready?" "As i'll ever be."

They began their run, Farkas being a show-off and running backwards, Kat rolled her eyes. "Bet I can beat you to the Train Yard!" Farkas said, running faster. "That's it!" Kat said, going as fast as her leg could carry her. She was ahead of Farkas, the Train Yard in sight. She beat him there, "ha! Suck it loser!" She yelled, dancing around him, rubbing her victory in his face.

Farkas just smiled, Kat grabbed his arms and made him dance. "Who wins? I WIN!" She yelled, shimmying about. Farkas just rolled his eyes and pushed her. "Alright I get it. Let's jog back to my place and get some breakfast before work." He stated, and they jogged back to his small house together.

"Coffee?" He offered, "Yes please!" She said, sitting at the small table in his kitchen. "Bagels or toast and fruit?" "hmmm, bagels." She replied. "So, how'd that date go with that guy from forensics?" Farkas asked, Kat looked up from the newspaper, "Oh, that." She sighed. "Sounds like it didn't go so well?" Farkas chuckled, "He was boring, creepy, and a total jerk." She stated.

"Why do you date?" Farkas asked, "Why don't you?" Kat asked, "I do! Just not as often, work to do and all, y'know?" Farkas said with a shrug. "Find someone who gets that, someone like you, someone you've known a long time." Kat told him. He thought a moment then smiled. He set the two mugs full of a steaming warm brew on the table.

"Alright Kat... then it's a date!" He stated, "What?" She asked taking a sip of the coffee. "It's settled, you and me, tonight, dinner." She spit her coffee out, "W-what? Uh, o-okay." She stuttered. Farkas smirked, finding it funny whenever he makes her flustered. He took a drink from his coffee, and his digital watch bleeped.

"Let's roll!" He said, throwing on his work uniform, Kat doing the same. They got in their shared squad car and went off to fight crime, save people, and do paper work!
