Let's take apart fact from fiction, shall we?~
(At least where this is specifically concerned...)

Here I'll list the weakness of a few characters that have supernatural abilities found in legend, myth, and folklore~

Those being: Mingan, Andrei, and Chris. (I do have more but they don't have bios and haven't made an appearance yet so they won't be done here).

CHRIS:

- burned by silver
- burned by sunlight (although it is not an instantaneous combustion)
- cannot tolerate harsh light of any other kind
- holy items and relics cause him pain
- holy water is akin to acid if touched to him
- he cannot enter a home uninvited unless he already lives there or the home is unsealed (meaning a large unblocked doorway of some kind)
- he cannot consume anything but blood
- poisoned blood can kill him
- yes a stake to the heart works but it also works for many other creatures as well.....
- same with fire.....

MINGAN:

- holy items and relics harm him
- cannot stand on hallowed ground
- anything that can kill or harm an animal can kill or harm him....
- certain types of magic can repel him or be used against him (though he is immune to others as well so be careful if this is your intention. However, he is not immune to any Native American/Native Canadian magics.)

ANDREI:

- burned by iron
- burned by sunlight (not an instantaneous combustion)
- cannot tolerate harsh light of any other kind
- holy items and relics cause him pain
- holy water is akin to acid if touched to him
- he cannot enter a home uninvited unless he already lives there or the home is unsealed (meaning a large unblocked doorway of some kind)
- he cannot consume solid foods and can only drink certain kinds of liquids (if other than blood)
- yes a stake to the heart works but it also works for many other creatures as well.....
- same with fire.....
- he cannot stand on hallowed ground
