Cass grabbed her knife from the ground, sliding under a fallen tree as she did so. She couldn't belive her eyes. That monster infront of her wasn't her brother. It couldn't be. Alex would never try to hurt her, even if it costed him his life.

Cass flipped out of the way of a magic spell that came from Alex's hands. His black tailcoat was blowing in the wind and whipping at his legs.

She quickly ducked behind a tree as another spell was shot her way.

"C'mon out, tear-drop! This deal I made with Maple-leaf isn't over yet!" He was distracted and shooting random spells. He was trying to kill Cass.

"I'm sorry Alex..." Cass whisperd. She signaled to her friend, Skylar.

Skylar aimed the weapon. She only had one shot to kill Alex, and the demon would die with him. She waited until the signal. Once received, she hesitantly shot the powerful weapon.

Cass ran from behind the tree, hearing the demons screams fade into her brothers. She ran up to him and cought his falling body. Cass sat down and sat his head into her lap, the knife forgotten at the tree.

Cass stroked her brother's hair and whispered softly to him. Words of reassurance that everything would be okay now. She felt a hand on her shoulder and saw her aunt, Jen.

Her friends and her brother's friends that have fought against this demon since the begging showed up. Skylar, Jasmine, Fawn, Jacob, Jerry, Juniper, Adrianne, Felicity, Hybrid and Piper.

They all formed a circle around you two and recited the incantation to rid the demon forever. She murmured the incantation of healing that she never mastered, and of course it didn't work.

Once the incantation was complete, everyone helped prepare a funeral for Alex. Cass sat at the tombstone for hours, never leaving until she too passed away in her sleep.
