Two of my short Homestuck One-shots created for my friends enjoyment.

Karkat didn't like his school, most people where bullying him or being downright rude to eatchother. Not necessarily the best place to be. Skaia high was not the best school to do to. You would go to Derse or Prospit elementary and middle school then go straight into Skaia high, even if you didn't know half of what they're teaching. Karkat heard rumors going around that today they would be getting a new student, rare around these part for people to move here. He took a seat in his chemistry class 10 seconds before the bell rang. The took a quick look at the empty seat next to him, all ways been empty. He quickly looked around the room to see someone new standing by the teachers desk. The chemistry teacher, Mr. Otero, introduced him as John Egbert. Karkat couldn't see much of the kid because his hood was up. Mr. Otero pointed him to the seat directly next to Karkat for him to sit. He scooted his chair over along with his stuff so John could sit. He sat there for a few minutes before the teacher called for him to take off his hood. And god-damn was he the hottest person Karkat has ever seen.

During the merge, some planet's made the trip. At the dinner table, with all 12 trolls and all 4 humans, Karkat asks Sollux how many planets followed them during the merge. Sollux starts with a reply but John quickly cuts him off "Did LOWAS make it?" There was no room for argument. Sollux quickly came up with a reply, searching on his husktop before responding with an answer "Yeah, it seems that LOWA-" John ran out of the room and twords a transporter before anyone could ask him what he was doing, leaving a stream of tears behind. Everyone ran after him, shouting to him. He quickly typed in the code on the transporter for LOWAS before he could see anyone that was following him. He walked into LOWAS, breathing in the familiar scent if his planet. John started conversing with the salamanders, they all seem to recognize him for being the kid from earlier and the Heir of Breath. The group of salamanders that honored him started cheering for him. John keeled down and group hugged the salamanders for believing in him. He quickly told the salamanders he'd be back and flew to his quest bed, his own body still laying there. He sat down by the quest bed before noticing the other humans and trolls neer him. He quickly stood up with a fake smile on his face, greeting his friends. They all looked worried and from a side glance, he could see his father's car, deep down in the forest. Jade ran up to him and hugged him catching him by surprise. Dave and Karkat both ran up to him next. He soon had everyone in another group hug and, for the first time in a while, he was truly happy to have friends.
