So if you don't know what Cicada 3301 is, it was a series of puzzles posted on Reddit in 2012 by an unknown group. The puzzles are near impossible to solve and continued in 2013 and 2014.

So me being me, I decided to solve them. I randomly looked up one of the puzzles and started working on it. This one:

Now, either I'm a goddamn genius or this wasn't from the actual Cicada 3301 organization because I solved it in less than 3 hours.

Honestly, all it took was finding a guide to Anglo-Saxon runes and then looking up a calculator for the totient function.

Unfortunately I'm in the mall now (I solved it during a car ride to the next town over) and don't have a picture of my work cause I left it in the car.

But seriously guys, this was incredibly easy for something that's supposed to be near impossible. I'm really curious if it's a fake now.
