Wilbur awoke to see Danton and the stupid cat were back. 'Selena may you leave...' said Danton as he turned on his heels to face the cat. 'I'll let you have your time with Calamity Cat then!' Hissed Selena as she walked out the door and slammed it shut. 'Wow, she is sure hot-headed' said Wilbur as he once again stood up. 'Mate stop doing that' said Danton as he placed a hand on Wilbur's shoulder pushing him back to the bed, 'It's bad for the wound'. 'It's not like the wound will ever get better!' Said Wilbur as he dramatically flopped around. 'You're acting like a restless child' hissed Danton, 'Relax'. 'Okay mum' said Wilbur annoyed as he sat up and rest on the wall. 'Seriously mate stop joking around this is a freaking zombie apocalypse'.

'Look I'm sorry' said Wilbur through clenched teeth. 'But I shouldn't be here, I should be trying to find a cure for this stupid disease'. 'What now you're some kind of scientist!?' Yelled Danton. 'Actually...' replied Wilbur 'I am a scientist, the names Wilbur Derrith Lan Griffin'. Danton stood speechless, he shook his head and then turned around. Wilbur saw he had a bandage around what looked to be a tail stub. 'Hey Dan!' Said Wilbur as Danton sighed and turned around. 'What?' He replied fed up.

Wilbur touched the stub of Danton's tail and he yelped and jumped into the air. When he landed he went a deep red colour, 'That wasn't my fault, you'll tell no one about that' mumbled Danton. 'Oh I swear, Caracal's promise' said Wilbur as he drew a cross across his palm with his finger. 'Good...' sighed Danton as he walked out of the room.

'Just like a puppy' thought Wilbur as a smirk went across his face, 'have to admit though, kinda cute'. Wilbur laid back down and grabbed some water from his bag and munched on the foul jerky. He smiled to himself as he started scribble stuff with an old pencil into a messed up note book. He then closed the book and rolled over in his bed and stare at the door. He strained his ears and he just heard the conversation outside.

Danton voice was heard as he said, 'Wilbur's going good guys. Will be an awesome edition to our team'. He heard a scowl and Selena's voice boomed, 'He spends too much time with you!'. He heard the voice of the hedgehog say, 'Your way to over protective of Danton, Selena!'. He heard Selena hiss 'Rosaline Edwards! Am I the kind of Aripellians who will put up with your nonsense! No, so shut your stupid herbivore mouth!'. 'Ladies, ladies' yelled the voice of Danton. 'Both of you just go, I'll talk to the others'.
