Why is it that the mirror seems to reflect all our flaws?

My self esteem is a piece of glass, fragile, brittle.

Shattered and laying on the ground;

Put myself together but I must have forgotten glue.

Slowly becoming confident;

Only to be shut down.

Time to take a stand against my own insecurities;

Smashing every mirror, my hands are dripping blood.

Taking the glass pieces and placing them together;

This time I will make sure they last forever.
