Reminiscing

You shake your head slowly

Unable to believe what you see

The tired eyes, the aging lines

That once had never been

You just can't seem to remember

As you stare in disbelief

Her looking, as you now see her

You share with her, her grief

Finally you can no longer stand it

As the tears build in your eyes

You turn and slowly walk away

Knowing full well

Mirrors don't lie
