Chapter 7
(A.N. 'Ello guys! I'm so sorry for taking so long to update. Life's been insane now that I have a babysitting job. I am determined to finish this story so don't worry about it being forgotten! Here you go my loves!)
Sabrina didn't hear the Doctor's question. She was too distracted by the people walking around trying to get things in place for something and the fact that she was in New York 1899.
"I'M IN NEW YORK 1899!" She shrieked. The Doctor quickly pulled her back inside the closet.
"Sabrina, what were you thinking about when you pulled the leaver?" He asked with his hands on her shoulders, keeping her attention on him.
"Oh, um. I was thinking about the musical Newsies, which is based on the Newsboys Strike of 1899. I was on my way to see the Live Filmed Broadway Movie when I crashed."
The Doctor breathed a sigh of relief. "Oh thank goodness. I thought we were in 20,000 Leagues Under The Sea, which is a rather depressing story in my opinion." He commented.
"Why did you need to know?" She inquired. "Because the only way to get out of here is to join in whatever events take place till the end of the story. So in this case, we're going to have to take part in a strike."
He suddenly broke out into a smile. "I guess now I can check that off my to do list. I've never been in a strike before. Oh this is exciting!" He said giving a little jump.
Sabina laughed. "You think you're excited?! I've been in love with this show for years! I know every step, I know every song, I know every actor. This is literally every fansies' dream come true." She forced herself from belting Santa Fe then and there.
The Doctor smiled at her. "Well, since you know it, you'll have to help me make sure everything happens just like it does in the show. In order to do that," he peeked his head back inside the T.A.R.D.I.S. doors.
Seeing the smoke was gone, he grabbed Sabrina's hand and pulled her inside. He lead her to the wardrobe room. "We have to blend in." Her jaw dropped.
There was clothes everywhere! And from every era too. "Wow." She breathed out.
She immediately started searching for clothes that were from the late 1800s. Finally, her eyes spotted a light blue floor length skirt and an ivory blouse.
She took hold of the hanger and rushed to a set of dressing room that mysteriously appeared. She left on her favorite brown boots which she had been wearing and slid her phone inside the right one.
She emerged from the dressing room and twirled around in her new outfit.
(Okay, I know I have the 'phone in boot' thing in The Power of a Princess, but I love adding it because it's something I did when I first got the phone I have. Plus, it's cool too. Also, if you caught that reference I made, bravo! The first person to comment what it is and where it's from gets a shout out in the next chapter. No cheating! That is all. Bye!)
