Arrival
While we were out.-
The Ghost is in hyperspace. Headed to a rendezvous with the entire rebel fleet. Ashoka, Harper, Rex, castor, Shike, and Echo await there arrival. While Rey, and the crew talk about his time on the star destroyer. Shike and castor have been helping train rebel troops since Ezra was kidnapped. They left when Sabine and Ezra left.
Ezra POV.
I stood in the common room of the Ghost. My left arm in a sling made of a bandage and all my other wounds rapped up, though some blood had stained the chest bandage. "Kallus is still on us. He still calls me Jabba which makes me wanna just hit em in the face." I replied to Kanan's question. "How did you escape?" Sabine asked. "I spent three days studying the locks, in the end, I was able to unlock the door during the guard change. Which is when I met Rey." I said. "Yeah, the door just flew open and he was like, 'come on. Let's go.'" She said. They all nodded and laughed a little. "But to be honest, I never thought I'd meet or work with the voice of hope." She finished. Kanan looked at me, puzzled. "The speech, a few years back." I said. He nodded and looked at Hera. "What's our ETA?" He asked. "Not to long, about two hours." She answered. I nodded. "I'm just glad you two got out safe." I said to Kanan and Sabine. Kanan smiled, but Sabine turned to look at me. "Oh yeah. I've been meaning to do this." She said. Before I could answer, the back of her hand landed on my cheek. There was a loud pop, and she stepped back. "Sabine!" Hera and Kanan yelled at the same time. I turned my head to face them, my good hand on my cheek. "No, no. I deserved that." I said. She grinned and pecked my lips. "Don't know if I deserved that though." I said, blushing slightly and chuckling. Kanan looked at the ground, shaking his head and grinning. Zeb shook his head. "I'm going back to bed." He said, walking out. The large lasat is always either eating, practicing, getting into trouble, or sleeping. "You did come back." She said, leaning on the wall and crossing her arms. Kanan crossed his arms and smiled. "Don't say it, Kanan. I know." I said. He smirked. "I wasn't going to say anything about the code." He said. "I was gonna say, I think your ready." He finished. I was confused. "Ready for what?" I asked. Everyone looked at him. "Ready to become a Jedi. No longer a padawan. I'm gonna speak with Ahsoka about knighting you as well." He said. My mouth dropped. "Really?" I asked. He nodded, smiling. I walked up to him and wrapped my good arm into a hug around him. He hugged back. "It's been a long time." He said. We let go. "I Can't believe it." I said. "If only my parents could see me." I said. "Yeah. I know what you mean." He said. I adjusted a bandage piece on my bare chest. Kanan opened a cabinet and tossed me a can of something. I guided it to my hand through the force and caught it. "What's this?" I asked. He smirked. "You said you needed a beer. Your eighteen, the right age" (Note: in England at least. :) ) I looked at the can. "Really?" I asked. He shrugged, getting another. "Anyone else?" He asked. "Sure." Sabine and 'Rey' said at the same time. He grinned and tossed one to each. Rey's grip slipped and the can feel to the ground my hand flew out and I caught it with the force. I raised it up with the force and she grabbed it. "Thanks." She said, opening it. I smirked. "No prob." I answered. Sabine rolled her eyes and opened hers. I tentatively took a sip. I swallowed the bitter liquid and made a weird face. Everyone in the room laughed at me, even chopper, who rolled out before I could chase him. I looked at Sabine and scowled. She shook her head, smiling and took a sip. Her face didn't change. I frowned. "What? I'm mando'ad." She said. I frowned. "So am I." I said. She smirked. "But I'm tough." She said. I put my right hand over my heart and made a hurt look on my face. "That hit me right here, Bine." I said, starting to laugh. She laughed to. I took another sip, prepared for the taste. Kanan walked out. "I'll be in the cockpit if you need me." He said. Rey turned to look at us. "So, I'm gonna bet you two are dating, or married?" She asked. Sabine blushed at the word 'married'. "Dating, not married.............yet." I said, grinning at Sabine, who obviously had to resist the urge to elbow me in the ribs. Rey saw Sabine and she smirked. "What do you mean? Yet?" She asked. "When the empire falls, we promised each other." Sabine answered. She nodded, looking down. "My boyfriend. He was a member of Phoenix squadron. We lost him when Vader attacked Phoenix Home." She said, looking down. "But your Mandolorian, and your a Jedi. Neither of you can die." She said. I resisted the urge to correct her, Mandolorian Jedi. "What do you fly? I noticed that your helmet is different from the regular A-wing pilots." I asked. She smiled at this. "I fly a prototype fighter. It's called the nub fighter. Others call it an X-wing." She said, pulling out a holoprojector. Two holograms came up, one had a fighter, the other was the same one but the wings made up an X. "I gotta fly that." We both said. Rey grinned. "Sorry. Only 3 fighters in existence. Well, 2 now." She said, putting away the holo projector. I rolled my eyes. I set my half empty can on the table. "I've had enough of that stuff." I said. Sabine set hers down. "I probably don't need anymore." She said. Rey nodded. "I'm gonna take a nap. It's been a long few days." I said. They nodded. "I think we all need some sleep. I haven't slept since I lost you." She said. "I've been gone for 4 nights." I said. She grinned sleepily. "I know." I shook my head. "Come on. There's some mats in cargo bay Rey. Help yourself." I said. She nodded and thanked us. I made my way to my room, but Sabine stopped me. "Nope. Your staying with me tonight. You've been gone long enough." She said. I grinned. "A few years ago, you wouldn't have said that." I said, leaning on the wall. "Because I didn't know you, I had to be the tough one of the group." She said. "You always have been." I said. She smiled. "Not compared to you." She said. I rolled my eyes. "You just wanna sleep with me." I said. "Well, when you say it like that...." She said. My face turned red. "That's not what I meant." I said. She giggled. "I know. I just wanted to see your reaction." She said. I shook my head. "Come on." I said. I followed her into her colorful room. On the table I saw a sketch pad, with me and her. I couldn't get a good look at it before she closed it. I sat on the bed and ran my hand through my hair. "What was that?" I asked. She looked away as she removed her armor. "Nothing." She said quickly. "I saw it you know. That drawing." I said. She sighed and turned to face me in her sports bra. "That was the only thing I could draw." She said. "I could give you something else to draw." I said, grinning mischievously. She raised an eyebrow. "What do you mean?" She asked. I didn't respond. I was already up. I pushed her back to the wall, and our lips met in a passionate kiss. She let out a soft moan as our tongues met. I wrapped my good arm around her waist as she wrapped hers around my neck. I broke the kiss and looked at her. I grinned. "That good enough?" I asked. She grinned, still trying to comprehend what just happened. "Yeah. Perfect." She said. I kissed her real fast one last time. "C'mon. I'm tired." I said, letting go of her. She yawned and shook her head. She jumped, literally, onto the bed and I lay next to her, on my back because of my sling. She rolled over and lay her head on my chest. "Like I said, beat up or not. Your the most comfortable pillow ever ." She said. I grinned as she took her last breath before falling asleep. And me not long after.
