I raised my blankie of my head to see JASON!
"What do you want here, Jas??",I said placing my blankie over my head again.
He sat down on my bed uninvited, he took my hands in his soft cold hands.
"Jas, not today please!!"
"Yh I know, but it will do you more good if you decide to listen to me"
"I don't want to Jas, I know just what you are about to say"
"Shhhhh!!!!, Britts I love you and you know that you love me too, so why are you refusing to budge?!!"
"BECAUSE WE ARE BEST FRIENDS FOR CRYING OUT LOUD!!!!!"
"It's nothing, friendship can turn into love Britts"
"You can't be serious Jas, I can't gamble with our friendship just like that. Maybe you don't really acknowledge this friendship but it means a lot to me and I value it so much. I can't lose it for some sort of useless relationship"

Jason slammed the door angrily. I didn't really care either. I knew he was pissed because of what I said but that was the actual truth....

.......Monday morning arrived so fast. I was stressed at the same time scared.
So was Jas angry at me?
I kept my head high with optimism to start a perfect and stress free day.

"Hey Britts", Marilyn called from afar. I turned to look at her running Helter skelter. She was just a botch.

"Mari!!!", I screamed from afar with a wave

"I have a Chemistry class this morning, Marilyn, will see you after that"

"So lunch is the time right??"

"Yes Lyn!!", I said apace

I was becoming nervous and scared cos Jas also had chemistry. I entered the class to see the teacher in already.

"Ms. Mire please have your seat, you are interrupting my class"

"Sorry ma'am"

My eyes skimmed through the class to find a perfect empty desk to sit in.
Mark waved from the back. I actually didn't want to sit by him but I had no choice either...
I saw Jas sitting at an adjacent angle. He looked at me with a blank expression on his face and turned away.
Class ended uneventfully. We had two other classes, then lunch

"So, Britts what next?"

I stared at her blankly, then frowned..

"Stop pretending as if u don't know what I'm talking about Britts", Marilyn said as she tickled me

"I thought we spoke about this Lyn"

"Just give it a try, would you??", Marilyn replied with a smirk.
I ignored her then focused on the food before me. I actually lost appetite for the food so decided to play with it...

School was over in no time and Jas didn't even bother to speak to me, I missed him and I felt bad he wasn't talking to me but I also had some pride and decided to play the game with him ...
