Brittany giggled and took her bag.
"We ready??!"
"Not until we see our driver", Marilyn sniggered.
"Really, who is picking us up??"
"Wait and see cupcake!", Marilyn replied with a simper.

..."Oh that's our driver Britts, I think he is in!!!"

"He took so long!!!, I am even sluggish now!", Brittany replied with a sigh

"Mr. Driver, what took you so long to pick us up?!", Marilyn said in guffaws

The anonymous person got out the car only to see Jason looking so glamorous and handsome in his formal apparel.

"I'm very sorry, mademoiselle,
you can hop in with your exquisite friend", Jason replied with an exaggerated bow

Brittany stared at Jason in astonishment. She was completely dumbfounded, she wanted to hug her beautiful and resplendent best friend now, but she felt tentative at the moment. She kept admiring his looks and couldn't get her eyes of him.

"Hey, what's up with you cupcake, you seem to be in a reverie?", Marilyn said with a chuckle.

"Oh it's nothing, I just miss my parents that's all",

"Oh poor cupcake, mum and dad gonna come back soon to get ya okay"

"I know, they are spending a week only", said Brittany with a wide smile

"Oh then that's great, sleepovers gonna be great, right??!"

"Yh yh"

"Don't you see Jason is looking so hot??", Marilyn whispered

"Stop it Lyn!", Brittany hit Marilyn playfully

Marilyn tittered and went back to her phone. Brittany was still caught in her reverie, thinking of how to speak to Jason, she was quite nervous and scared she wiped the imaginary sweat off her forehead and let out the breath she didn't realize she was holding...

"Ladies, please we have arrived at our destination", Jason said with baloney

Brittany and Marilyn got out of the car. Brittany wanted to talk to Jason badly but she didn't know how to. She wanted to confer Marilyn for ideas to approach him but she felt she was going to give up the war so easily.

"Hello guys!"

"Hello Nina, Happy birthday!!!", Marilyn spoke in excitement

"Happy birthday Nina, enjoy your day okay!, I have a present for you, here you go", Brittany said as she picked a beautifully wrapped mini box from her purse.

"Thanks Brittany, this is so beautiful!!", Nina stared at the bracelet in fascination

"You are welcome"

"Happy birthday girl, you look so hot tonight!"

"Thanks Jason, you look glamorous too!", Nina said and hugged Jason

A sense of jealousy raced across Brittany's body. She left to the party scene.

Brittany stared at the place in bewilderment.
"This place looks awesome!", she said underneath her breath.

Marilyn later joined Brittany inside,
"The party is so cool, there are hot guys around too!"

"What's with all this obsession you have with guys??!"

"It's far better than going in for my gender!", Marilyn replied with a wink

"See you later, going to search for some hot guys", Marilyn continued and slipped into the crowd

"Huh!, She too is gone, I guess I would have to mingle", Brittany said as she moved towards the mini bar.

"Hey Brittany!", Scott said as he moved to sit by her.

"Hi Scott!"

"You are looking so alluring, I just couldn't get my eyes of you when they came into contact with you"

"Thanks Scott, you look captivating too"

"Hey, I would like two shots of vodka"

"Oh no!!, Scott I don't take in alcohol"

"Just once wouldn't destroy anything, would it??"

"I don't think this a good idea, will...."

"Just try it, if it ain't good, you back out"

"Okay sure"

Brittany took the mini glass filled with the vodka and gulped in

...."Oh it ain't that bad Scott, another shot won't be bad"

Brittany swilled eight shots of the alcohol and finally gave up. She was besotted and vulnerable.

"Scott, I need some more!!!!!!!", Brittany yelled

"Oh no, it's enough!"

Brittany began hitting the counter so hard as she requested for more alcohol. She was given another shot as she requested, she was about to tipple the last shot when the glass was shoved off her hands..

"Scott, why did you allow her to guzzle all that??!!"

"It wasn't me man!!, She insisted she wanted it"

"She never thought of taking in alcohol, you forced her, didn't you??!", An angry looking Jason yelled as he grabbed Scott's shirt.

The argument became hotter and finally resulted into a fight.

The motley crowd which surrounded them separated them from attacking each other. Jason picked Brittany up and placed her in the car.

"Marilyn, I have to take Britts home, she is a mess"

"Why what's wrong with her??!", Marilyn asked with concern

"She gulped in too much shots and she is all crapulent, so I'm taking her home"

"Take care of her okay!"

Jason nodded and waved Marilyn  goodbye. He sat in the car and sped away.........
