"Who's that?" a voice whispered.

His head swung back to the owner of the voice. A bluish-gray tom with soft blue eyes was standing in the ground.

"That's Fluffyfur," a gray tom with amber eyes whispered back.

He padded over, glaring as the two apprentice-sized cats cowered under his cold gaze as it swept towards the bluish-gray tom. "Who's this?"

"The new apprentice!" piped the other one.

"Ah. I see. I do remember Aquastar found some ah, kittypet stealing our fresh-kill," he put emphasis on the last three words.

"Yup!" he meowed.

"Then I will ah, watch your training, kittypet," he growled, stalking away.
