So today, I went to my work, just as I usually do. Got my coffee, walked up and sat down at my desk. I started writing up some paperwork when my phone buzzed. I picked it up and looked:
Ross- You coming to play today?
Ross? The shy narwhal? Okay, that was weird. I couldn't come in though, I had to much work. Just then, I had an epiphany. I stood up and headed to my boss' office. I knocked on the door with a smile on my face. I heard his deep voice call-
"It's open..." I practically skipped inside. "What do you want. Make it quick."
"Mr. Dunlop, I quit." He looked up from his paper with a surprised look. I walked out with my head held high. My co-workers glare at me as I smile crazily. I reached the elevator and pressed the ground button. As the door closed, I clicked my heels and rang up Adam.
"Hey, what's up?"
"Adam, I'm coming in today."
"Don't you have to work?"
"Not anymore! Come and get me,"
"Be there in five *cheers*. Oops, forgot to hang up. See you soon."
The doors of the elevator opened and I walked over to the curb waiting for Adam. His car pulled up and he rolled down the window. "You ready!?"
"You know it!" I jumped into his car and he sped off to the building.
