Everything happened so fast that  Shivaay couldn't understand,what to do , and how to react. His heart had literally came into his mouth seeing the man holding the gun in his hand pointing directly towards the Bella and anika side. Which made him quicken and he run towards the ladies to save them. But in the process, he just able to pull Bella only and until he react more , bullet hit directly anika and she fell on the ground straight making his breath stop. He try to maintain his posture, but ended up stumbling back seeing the woman, who had been married to him for six months ,laying on the floor infront of him, drenched in the blood. First time of his life ,he felt like he is losing something precious. Even when Bella had got in accident ,that time he didn't feel like this. But seeing anika like this made his world ups and down.

Annie , balaaj come running towards anika and started patting her cheek. But she is laying  there lifelessly closing her eyes . Family also got horrified with such sudden attack and stormed towards  anika calling her name.

Oh god "what happened ?? How she got shot. She is bleeding so much. Sofia cry seeing the blood oozing out from Anika's  wound  profusely.

We have to take her hospital. Before anyone reacts, she's been carried by balaaj literally giving heart attack to shivaay. Already , he was trying to process the scenario, and now she's been carried by another man instead of him. Instantly his jaw clenched in rage  and he  stride towards the balaaj to snatch her away from him. But he was too late. Balaaj already proceeded to take her towards the hospital following with the all family members except Bella ,who looks happy with all this. Seems like god is in her favour. The stone from her feet gonna remove, before it pierce into her skin. But for gaining sympathy of the family , she plastered worry on her face and follow them behind.

In the hospital,

Shivaay seems pissed for not saving his ex wife and let another man touch her. It should had been him ,who would had saved her and take her in his arms. Not any another random man. But no!! It didn't happen and before he even process, what happened , he carried her fragile body in his arms and took her ,like she belongs to him. He feels like a loser, who couldn't protect her and let the bullet dodge her body like this. He rubs his forehead in tension and pace back and forth in the waiting room having fury as well as worry on his face.he is feeling like to grab balaaj and slap
Across his face for becoming hero in anika's eyes ,when should had been him ,who would had saved her not this bloody Bastard.

You are ok right ?? did you get hurt anywhere??. Show me ,show me. Susan asked in her shaky voice trying to locate wound on the Bella making the oberoi shock with her reaction. At this time, she should be worried for anika , who is fighting for her life. But here, she is thinking about Bella, who didn't get hurt at all.

I'm just scared mom. What if bullet had hit me. It was so near mom.if shivaay won't had been there. Then today ,I would had been dead by now. She cry hugging her mother being all scared and horrified with the incident ...

No my baby ,stop crying. Don't talk about death. You are saved in your mother's arms. I will not let anything happen to you. Hmm. Shivaay rolls his eyes and just turn his face away not able to see all the drama infront of him. Before few hours , he was fully supporting Bella and her parents blaming everything to anika. But after seeing ,how they are behaving with her making him  somewhere feel sympathy towards his ex wide . Not even single person in her family loves her or care about her. Suddenly his startled when , Balaaj come out removing his masks. Shivaay reacted immediately and stormed towards him in fast pace. He about to grasp his collar to lash out his anger on him , but on meantime his dad stopped him with thick glare.

How's anika doctor?, is she fine ?? Gabe Shivaay's father ask in worry tone.

I've able to take the bullet out from her body. Thankfully, it had hit her shoulder. Her wound was so near her chest that I was afraid might, it damaged her heart. But thankfully it dodged her shoulder. Her wound is bit deep. So we had to sling her arm. Which she has to maintained until her wound doesn't fill up. Hearing him shivaay squeeze his eyes in relaxation and nods his head.

Can we see her ?? He asked in his calm voice yet having rage in his chest.

Not yet , we haven't shifted her in normal ward. As we will do. You guys can meet her. Hmm. He pass the smile to senior oberoi and walk out from there.

I knew that she will be fine. She is hard rock. Won't happen to her anything , even a truck run through her body. Now if you guys are done getting worried for her then , shall we leave for house. Bella ask in arrogance tone , earning thick glare from Sofia as well as shivaay.

Are you hearing yourself lady. Your sister has been shot. And you are talking like this about her. Shame on you. Sofia snarled  glaring her.

She is my sister. I know her more than you people. It's all her drama to gain your  attention.That's all. But I'm not gonna come into her drama. I know her true colour. If you people want to stay here. Then do. I'm not gonna do. Mom and shivaay let's go. I'm really tired. Can we go home.

I'm not coming. I'm staying here. Hearing Shivaay's crisp yet subtle voice , made bella ground her teeth snd she walk towards him in fast pace.

What do you mean , you are not coming. Are you mad shivaay. Have you forgotten, what she has done to me. And you still wants to stay with the girl like her. Come let's go here. Stop wasting your time and come with me. And I think you guys should go home as well. It's waste of time to stay here.

I wanna stay here. I'm not going home. Rudra announced in his firm voice glaring Bella.

Me neither. Sofia said as well.

I think miss Bella is right. You guys should go home. We are here to take care of miss anika. you guys don't need to stay. If she needed anything. Then I'll let you know. Moreover she is not going to wake up too soon. So waiting here is useless. Balaaj interrupted before bells argue with the oberoies. Which made shivaay angry and he instantly snapped his eyes at him with rage.. he open his mouth to Debate , but Bella tug his hand and started dragging him along with her.

Let's go. You are coming with me. More than here. I need you. Saying this she took him along , following by the family as well. Leaving anika in the guidance of balaaj.

In the parking lot, as Bella settle in the car , shivaay banged the door closed , making her shocked. She thought , he is coming with her. But seems like , he has changed his planned and standing infront of her having stern face.

Shivaay , aren't you coming. she whispered his name keeping hand on the  window.

Go home , you and your family seems really tired. They need rest after doing much hard work to humiliate Anika. Don't you. Take them home Marcus. As their rest is more important, than someone's life. Saying this, he  stormed away from there leaving Bella fuming in rage. She screams  and   Raise her hand to open the door. But before she does , car has zoomed away from there in fast speed. 

I'm not going  either  , from another car Rudy got down along with Sofia and sent rest  of the people home. 

In the hospital

I don't Care, I want that man infront of me at any cost. Just get him as soon as possible. Did you understand. Saying this , he cut the call  resting his hand on the wall feeling hell frustrated.  It's been 4 hours of the incident and until now , no one able to get clue of the attacker ,not even police. 

Mr oberoi you didn't go.  I thought you would be gone by now. Hearing balaaj voice , shivaay turns and throw
His hard glare on him making him chuckle.

Don't you think you are behaving over  smart after saving her life.  He seethes grounding his teeth controlling his rage.  Right now he is feeling like
To grab him and just choke him until the death. But controlling himself  because of anika and the hospital rules.

Yah obviously ,I'll play smart when I've done that which you should  had  done. I mean you could had saved both. But you chose your fiance letting anika  die there .

I didn't not, "ok.  It wasn't in my hands. Until I react , she had been shot. Otherwise I was going to save her as well. Stop trying to make yourself a hero. When you are not.he screams pushing him towards the wall keeping his arm on his neck choking him.

Shivaay " what are you doing?? let him go.  It's hospital.   His mother and brother try to remove from the Balaaj, But he seems not feeling to let him go.

Chief, she is awake. A nurse announced in tensed voice seeing the two men fighting like a children. 

Is she ?? Balaaj pushes shivaay away and shrug his  jacket. 

We will talk about this later that who is hero and who's not. He smirk ar shivaay and hurriedly left towards the ward, Where anika have been kept.

You shouldn't had behaved like this with him. After all he saved her life. Sofia said in disbelief because of her son childish behaviour.

He was right though. We also see. How you just screamed bella name and let anika die there.  Hearing his brother sarcastic tone, shivaay snapped his eyes at him earning a humourless chuckle from the Rudy. 

Shut up ok.  Jusr shut up rudy. He snarls pointing finger at him finding no reason to defend himself and went towards the anika's ward.he comes in and found the balaaj leaning on anika like, he is kissing her  it literally gave him mini heartache. But next second a relief sigh left his mouth finding the distance between them.

You ok, he asked her caressing her hair lovingly making shivaay clenched his hand tight in fist.

I'm , just my shoulder is aching so bad. She whispered in the influence of the medicines.

Move , I need to talk to her. Shivaay hold the balaaj shoulder and  shove him away making him angry. Before he was controlling his anger , thinking about his reputation in the hospital. But now it's crossing from the head.  He is behaving way too childish. He grounded his teeth and about push him away with same force. But on meantime  anika whispered shivaay name making him stop in mid way.

Mr oberoi , she whispered  in confusion finding her ex husband standing infront of her looking, all worried and tensed. Which she least expected.  She thought,the way her family left. (Balaaj told her ) He did as well. But he is standing infront of her in dishevelled state looking all pale and  worried for her. 

You are ok ? He asked in his tensed voice raising keeping his hand on her forehead which literally bring her into senses. She gulp and slowly nods her head without uttering anything.

I'm glad to hear. He whispers massaging her thick scalps , which he finds so relaxing to do. He never thought that before she has such thick and soft hair. They feel so good to touch them.

You shouldn't be here. She voice out slowly bringing him back into the reality.

Huh ? He frowns.

You should go home. You shouldn't be here. I'm ok. I can take care of myself. She remove his hand from her head and slowly sat up holding her shoulder.

What are you doing. ?? He got panic seeing her behaving so impulsively and not caring about her wound or anything.

You should go ok.  Tomorrow is your engagement. And at this time , you should be with your fiancé. Not me.   I'm enough capable to taking  care of myself. She said rudely , not meeting her eyes with him , making shivaay infuriated. Here "he was  sick worried for her. And kept thinking about her well being. And she ,instead appreciating  , asking him to leave. She doesn't want him to accompany her  or stay around her. Before an hour he was feeling sympathy for her. And now , it has turned into frustration seeing her being so ungrateful.  It's his mistake! he should had listened Bella and should never had come. She deserve to be alone.

Fine , I'll leave. You don't need to be so rude. He snarled  staring at her with disdain.

Great. Then leave.  Don't stay here. I don't want your sweet girlfriend to be mad about it . 

I was here. Because I was worried for you.   I thought you needed someone infront of you , after opening your eyes for assurance. But seems like , you didn't need anyone. You are happy to be alone. Bella was right.  You don't deserve love or sympathy. As the way you behave,  no one would like to stay with you. You will stay alone forever. As his harsh words caught her ears, her tears betrayed her and started pouring out of her eyes , which she wiped  away immediately and stared at him with her red eyes.

You are right , I don't deserve anyone. So you shouldn't be here as well. Go home. Moreover st this time,  you should be worried about your fiancé. As seems like , she was aimed by the bullet not me.

You are right. I should be with her. At least she won't behave heartless like you. Good bye.  Live alone forever. He throw a sharp glare at her and dashed out of the ward fuming in rage.  

Shivaay , what happened ?? How's anika ?? His mother and brother follows him behind, inquiring about Anika's health.

Don't worry about her. Let's go home. Don't spend a sleepless night for the ungrateful girl like here. Saying this he stormed out of the hospital along with his mother and brother.

On the other side

Are you ok ?? Balaaj ask anika passing har tissue finding her  not in good state.

Yes, I'm. Nothing happened to me.   It's just I want to discharge by Tomorrow. I don't think so , my wound is that deep  to stay at hospital.

I would suggest you to stay one more day. But anika shakes  her head to his suggestion and speak clearing her face with her back palm.

No  it's ok,  it's not needed.  I would like to go home tomorrow.

Alright , I'll start the procedure. You take rest , until then. Saying this he  stroke  her head and left the ward leaving her with her loneliness and wounded soul for not having anyone beside her , specially her parents , when she needed them the most.

On the otherside

Shivaay's phone is ringing continuously. But he is completely ignoring,  being drowned in anika's thoughts and his impulsive behaviour towards her before half an hour ago.  In anger , he spilled all the venomous words, which he shouldn't had. He should had understand that she is hurt not seeing her family around. But instead lighting her mood, he bursted at her and left the hospital  blubbering everything , whichever came into his mother. But it's  not his fault either. He couldn't fathom to see that  bloody doctor balaaj wondering around her. He agreed , he treated her and saved her. But still the way , he was all worried and personally going through her treatments made him feel infuriated.  And this caused him to lashed out at her without any reason.  He hit the steering wheel and drove in more  speed.  After few seconds  of silence in the car , yet again his phone rang , which increased his frustration and he picked up the call , yelling in his dangerous voice.

When I'm not picking up the Damn phone, then it's means, I don't wanna talk Bella. Stop calling me again and again.  He screams  making Bella jump on her bed and she started crying.

Shivaay I'm scared. Where are you. At this time , you should be with me ,instead that bitch anika. Apparently attack was on me not on her. It was  coincident that she got shot.

You have your parents with you.  Nothing gonna happen to you. And about being me with anika. Than don't worry   I'm not with her. I'm going home.  Understand. Not go to sleep. Stop calling me again and again and piss me off.

What about  our engagement tomorrow . She cry before he shut the phone.

Are you even hearing yourself bells. Your sister is in the hospital. She has got  shot.  So hold your senses  and stop thinking about the engagement , until the situation doesn't subside.  Now kindly lay down and sleep. Good night.  Saying this  he turn off the phone and throw on the passenger seat squeezing his eyes trying to control his rage , which is building up each and every second for not able to hold on the situation.

In the morning

After not having a good sleep , shivaay first thing done in the morning is just to get up and straight went to the hospital , hoping to find anika there. But when he reached there. He found out that she's already been discharged and went home ,which made him hell worried. As  before a day , that girl literally came out from the death mouth. And she's already  been gone home.  Last night that bloody balaaj was showing so much care towards her. Then how the hell , he has given her permission to go home. He clench his jaw while his nose flare in anger and he stormed towards the ceo office to meet him.

Mr oberoi , stop "where are you going.?? You can't go in there. One of the nurses try to stop him. But he didn't not put ear on her words and dashed in yelling balaaj name , finding the whole cabin empty.

Doctor is not here. He went early morning home for rest. He was here whole night. So on request of doctor anika he is gone home. Shivaay squeezes  his  eyes and nods.

Of course , he listened to her. He  speaks in low yet infuriating  tone and left the hospital.

In the Adkin family

Annie , maid comes running towards anika and took her  in hug shedding tears seeing her fragile state.

Are you ok?? I was so worried for you. She said stroking her hair.

I'm fine. She answered in her tired voice.

What are you doing here. ?? You should be at the hospital.  Look at your condition. She ask worriedly seeing her arm slung up while, she looks all pale and almost bloodless.

I'm ok. Don't worry. Just tired.  She murmur   Squeezing her forearm in assurance.

So you came back.  I knew that , it was your all drama to delay my engagement. Anika turns her head and found her  sister standing on the stairs along with her mother. Who seems like had good sleep last night having no tiredness on her face.  Sometime or almost every day , she thinks that she is not her mother. Otherwise moms literally drains out themselves ,  if a single Thorne pierce their child. But her mother doesn't care about her and always treats her so shit.

I'm going in my room.  She tells the maid and left from there without sparing glance to her mother or sister who kept calling her from behind, but she didn't bother to turn back or answer them. 

Precap .... Engagement and anika finds out that Bella was faking about her short memory loss. She remembers everything.
