Anika flicker eyes trying to keep them open. But her body is not allowing her to keep her sanity. The pain in her stomach is so unbearable that she is hoping for her death as soon as possible. So that this pain could fade away and she finally gets peace. But as much as , she is trying to submit herself. It's getting worse and worse leaving her in loads of agony.helplessly she leans on the railing and sobs ready ro close her eyes, when someone jolt her calling her name loudly. She gasps and immediately open her watery lazy eyes and found shivaay is sitting infront of her crying in mess.at the moment, she got freezes finding him there, that also in this condition. She never saw him crying ever specially like this. He is literally looking mess and crying none stop like a child shedding tears from his blue cyan eyes. She always admired his eyes. And found them always full of life and passion. He has some kind of strength in his gaze that she always found him strong and well handled man in hard situations. But today seeing them filled with the tears , made her shocked that also for her. It's feeling someone has snatched his favourite thing from him. He is looking like a big pile of mes, which he is not able to hold himself.

I'm so sorry. I'm so sorry. I couldn't stop them attacking you. Please forgive me. He cry cupping her face in his shaky hands trying to get response from her. But she seems unfazed staring at him  with her blurry gaze . She is trying to process the reality that he is in actual there or it's her dream , where's she seeing shivaay oberoi , who left her for her sister , crying like a child holding her closer to him like his life is depends on her. Never even in her dreams she thought that "she would see him in this state. But actually it's happening and it's somewhere more shocking for her , than  getting attacked by someone. 

Shivaya , she whispered his name having  drowsy eyes and then closed them not able to bear the pain in her body. 

Anika , open your eyes anika. He shakes her. But there's no response from her side and she lay in his arms unmoved increasing the panic more in him than before.

Boss are you alright , his men whom he had put on anika's security came in huffing badly. Seems like they ran from the stairs to reach there. 

Get the car out. We are taking her hospital. He screams in agony and carry the  fragile anika in his arms. Who seems totally lifeless hanging her neck like a little chicken. 

Whole way ,he kept her in his lap trying to stop the bleeding through her belly. On the same time He is just murmuring her name again and again hoping to get answer from her. But she is not in condition to move her finger even. His driver, Who is time to time checking him through the mirror. He is shell shocked with his out break. Their boss is always been a strong man. He just learnt to make people cry. Not to cry itself specially for someone like anika. Whom he never considers his closed one. He remembered , until she was in his life. He never cared about her. She was his wife. But he pretended like she doesn't exit in his life. And always been unbothered about her. But today seeing him like that making him  shocked.  He don't understand, what happened after their divorce that their boss started caring about his ex wife too much like this. 

Drive fast.  We have to reach hospital asap.  He screams seeing him not reaching hospital until now.

Yea boss. Saying this. He sped up his cry and drove  away from there. 

In the hospital

Seeing her condition. Doctors immediately took her in the  emergency room to operate her leaving shivaay behind all shocked and traumatised. When he had saw her hanging the railing. First thing he had thought to just run and save her. And somewhere he had hope that he will able to save her from those beast. But he is such loser that he couldn't reach on time and they managed to hurt his anika. He can't remove the image form his brain , when he had seen her in that condition all  soaked in the blood.  It's just stuck in his brain making him go crazy.  He  exhale a  full of helplessness breath  and look at his blood soaked hands as well as clothes.  It's all her blood. His anika's. Whom someone tried to kill and he couldn't even save her. He is finding himself a loser , a failure" Who had once promised himself to keep her save. But he couldn't do that even and ends up putting her in danger like that.

Boss , his security man calls him holding his hands infront casting his head down.

Did you get them?? He seethes dragging his red puffy towards him scaring shit out of that  gaint man for a moment.

Yes , we got them. But unfortunately they were just hired by someone. They don't know , who was the person .. they are totally clueless about it. They said, they had got a call from someone  to kill  miss anika. And for that , that person deposited 1million in their accounts . And cut the call, before they inquiry who's speaking. He answered in his subtle voice  still having his head  down.

Get the person as soon as possible. Trace the number and try to get the information about the main culprit. Do not leave it like before. This time, I don't want to hear about you being failure. Just search the actual culprit  . I want him to walk around freely,  after laying his hand on my anika.  Hearing " MY ANIKA  " in his anguish voice, shudder the guy standing infront of him and he immediately left from there leaving him sat there alone.

Whoever you are. Soon I'll catch you and will punish you worse than you hurt my anika. Just get ready to face my wrath. He seethes fisting up his hands tight on his thighs feeling hell pissed by all this. He had thought that he will manage to get person into his feet in few days. But it's getting so hard that now he's feeling like his money , his power is useless. Because it's not coming into his favour to save his anika. And it's reached in that point that now literally she is laying on death bed. He squeezes his eyes and stood up marching towards the icu " where anika has been kept. He reached near the door and kept his hand on the glass suppressing his sobs. But ends up shedding tears. At this moment, the strong shivaay oberoi have been slipped away from his disguise and a vulnerable man has taken over him. Who is breaking down second by second seeing her condition. He never had thought that one day he would cry for a woman , whom he was considering nothing to him. But now  it's happening and it's making him realise that how important she is to him.

Shivaay " someone call his name gaining his attention. He flinches and turn finding none other than his family looking at him with grim eyes.

Shivay where's anika?? Is she fine. His mother's voice cracks up not able to hold her emotions thinking about anika. Before half an hour only they got to know about the attack on her. And without thinking anything. Whole family decided to show up in the hospital. Because she is one of their favourite person in this world. Whom they couldn't make their family because of bad circumstances or better to say their son's choice.

Mom she , she is .... He try to voice out. But ends up  getting quite  feeling hard lump in his throat.

Shivaay " his mother loves towards him and took him in hug trying to console him. Ar this moment  she knows what's going on with her son. No matter how much he hides.  The love and care for anika is clear in his eyes. It's just,  he seems afraid to express it infront of people.  

Mr oberoi " doctor calls him gaining all his attention towards  him. He immediately break apart from his mother and stare at him with the hope weeping through his blue cyan eyes. 

How's... how's she. He asked  crossing his fingers on his back keeping his sanity solid infront of everyone. 

She has lost so much blood.  Whoever has attacked her. He  have tried  his best to kill her on the spot. The  knife has done enough damage inside her. Hearing him shivaay  flinches and curled up his fist in rage.

We have stitched her wound as well as managed to stopped the bleeding.  But she is too weak  to bear the pain. So we have put her on sedation . 

Is she fine or not. He again asked the same question  feeling frustrated  seeing him not getting on the point.

She is ok. We managed to save her.  It's just she needed a proper bed rest. At least a month.  Because her wound is fresh. And if she will try to walk then it will stress her wound. Which is not good for her at all. I am hoping  mr oberoi that you will  take care of your wife.to be fair. She needs you the most at this time. Anyways in few hours she will awake.  That time" you can meet her. He pats his  shoulder and left from there leaving his family shocked. They were expecting him to correct the doctor , when he called anika his wife. But he seems calm and unbothered about it.

Shivaay " his mom calls him holding his forearm.

What are you going to do.  She asked having concern for anika in her tone. 

I know what I've to do mom. You don't  worry. He answered  after a long pause having so many things going on in his brain.

Shivaay , his brother came ahead to talk to him. But he interrupted in middle. 

Stay close to anika. Do not leave her alone. There's three  bodyguards " who gonna stay closer to you .. do not let anyone in without checking them. Understand.

Where are you going shivaay. His mother interrogates being very well known that he won't stay idle after whatever happened today.

You will get to know soon mom. Just stay closer to anika. Saying this he flick his hair and stormed away from there following by his security.

It's been 2 hours and shivaay haven't came back.  His mother and other family tried to contact him but he is no where to be seen. On top of that  balaaj has  increased their tension more after coming there. He's not leaving anika for a second and sitting beside her having her hand in his hold. Ar this time , shivaay "should be there. Because he is the one , who has saved her. But seems like all credit going to balaaj. As he is sticking with her from past two hours and not  even budging a little. 

Did he pick up. Jenny asked her brother  rubbing her hands in tension.

No. He hasn't.  Rudy answered suppressing his tension infront of his sister. 

Anika you are awake ??  Hearing full of excitement voice of balaaj whole family's attention towards anika bed, where she has stirred a little.

Balaaj , she stammers in her lowest voice having drowsy eyes.
Annie " balaaj wipes his tears and stood up being super happy to see her awake. 

Are you alright ,? Is there anywhere paining. He asked hoping to get answer from her. But she seems disappointed seeing him there. Her expressions showing, she was expecting someone else infront of her. But  it's seems totally opposite to her wish ,pushing her into reality making her realise that she was hoping  too much from her life. Whatever she saw before few hours. It was her dream. Shivaay  was never been there. He never came to rescue her. It was actually Balaaj not him. 

You had scared me Annie. You don't know ,how much worried I was for you. I can't describe how I felt ,when I'd learnt about the accident. Are you alright baby. Is there paining. Shall I call the doctor. He asked keeping hand on her forehead hoping  to get answer. But she is just staring at him with empty stare. 

I'd told you to let me help you.  But you didn't listen to me. Now see what happened.  But now I won't listen to you anymore.  I won't let you be alone anymore. I've decided something.  We will get married and then no one ever will dare to touch you.  I will protect you life time.  He smiles placing kiss on her forehead giving heart attack to oberoi clan.  Rudy  couldn't  hold himself and about to voice out. But Shivaay's  stepped in middle...

You can't marry  an already married woman.  Specially that who is belong to shivaay oberoi.

Hearing him all gasp including Bella "who  just emerged in along with her parents. 

Shivaay , she exclaimed.
