resolved to be what i am.

what i was destined to do.

what i was created to do.

cast out from a world of perfection, left alone, but not alone, in a strange and cruel world, devoid of any civilized direction. i do stand alone.

i know i have a reason. 

i have a destiny.

i have a single path.

but what the path is ...

is unclear.

i see stretched before me a world cast in shadows. slowly, but deliberately, devouring itself, like a cancer, left untreated. or ignored. or unnoticed.

i see a world negated of any semblance of humanity. 

am i its humanity.

am i its saviour.

am i the path.

i do not know why i have been chosen for this, but i accept whatever challenge that lays before me.

for i am resolved.
