I'm a failure XD

Why did it take me so many months to write the first chapter!?

I wake up earlier then I have to, around 4 am. Yes, I know its early, and I technically don't have to be up till 6:30, but ever since I got my Moon Bracelet I've been waking up early to test out my powers and just enjoy running around. So far, I've learned that I can turn myself invisible for short amounts of time, I can see in the dark, even in pitch black, and I can teleport short distances. I tap the bracelet, transforming into Twilight, and leave my room.

I sneak over to a small area that's out of sight, where I've been going to practice my powers. After a few hours I slip back home and detransform, putting on a white top with a purple jacket, and black leggings. I put my shoes on and tie back my wavy black hair, grabbing my backpack and going downstairs for breakfast.

After breakfast I walk to school, alone. When I get there I'm greeted by my best friend since childhood, Lucy. She smiles and I hug her. "Hi Lucy!" Lucy laughs. "Ayla come on! You're gonna be late!" I look at the time and gasp. "Oh no!" I dash off to class without enough time to say goodbye to Lucy.

Lucy's class is right by the entrance, while mine is on the other side of the school, so she doesn't worry about being late. Meanwhile I barely make it to English on time. My teacher shoots me a warning glare as I sit, starting our lecture on grammar.

After hours of torture the last bell rings and I start to head home when I'm met by a familiar blonde. Leah. My childhood bully.

"Well well well, what do we have here. Poor little dumb Ayla." She laughs. I sigh, trying to get around her. She gets in my way again. "Oh! Poor little Ayla can't escape!" she teases. I look down, still trying to leave. "Stupid, you know you can't get away from me. Stop trying you dumb crybaby!" She smirks at me

I fight back tears. "G-Go away, Leah...."

She laughs, her bracelets jingling with the movement, charms moving around. It reminds me of mine and I hold my arm with my Moon Bracelet close to my chest. She walks away, shoving me over as she walks past me. I stand up, turning to look at her and see Lucy, standing there watching me. She walks by me and I follow next to her, smiling slightly. Lucy gets in her car and I walk home alone again.

20 minutes later I get home and turn on the TV. "...that there is another attack happening right now by the super villain Twilight. Hopefully our great hero Sunbeam will arrive to save us!"

I sigh. "Great" I mutter, transforming into Twilight. "Can't Sunbeam give it a break for once!" I whisper to myself, going to the area she was attacking people.

Sunbeam has the power to blind people, so she blinds everyone and attacks them and then blames it on me.

I appear and start fighting Sunbeam, dodging her attempts to blind me. "I knew you'd show." She hisses to me.

I growl. "You never really give me much of a choice, do you?"

She smirks. "Your weak. Weak and stupid. You can't escape me!"

I sigh, still dodging her attacks. "Can't you at least tell the truth, and tell everyone that I'M the hero and YOU are the villain!?" I complain.

She laughs. "Now why would I do that, when this gives me all the fame and glory I deserve!"

And that's how it goes. Back and forth.

By the end of the fight I'm barely holding on, most of my energy drained from using my powers too much. It was late, and I had the dark on my side, making her retreat back to wherever she lives as I collapse through my window, detransforming and barely making it to my bed before I fell asleep.

Okay Hi so i know this is kinda a bit short but I can not think of anything else right now and I am tired and it has already been too long since I updated soooo yeah! Let me know what you think!
