"All we have to do is track down this women right?" King asks glancing in the room at his friend whom was still knocked out. Zeldris nodded.
"From what I've been able to find through records, whatever happened to her, she should be in a tiny town near Camelot. As long as we get there before those women do we should be fine." He admitted.
"Well what happens if they get their first?" King asks.
"Well then they'll behead everyone." Zeldris admitted.
"W....isn't that what you guys did before this?" King snapped glaring at the demons.
"Technically we ate their souls. We kept their bodies in tack."
"It's basically the same thing." King snapped. "If you're willing to kill entire villages for your will, how the hell do we know you wing turn on us when we get to this women's old village?"
The room fell silent as what was left of the commandments looked a each other. They shared and knowing look for a few more minutes. Monspeet spoke up this time.
"We have decided to live peacefully here now." Monspeet spoke up.
"And why is that?" Diane asks standing behind king where she felt safe no matter what.
"The demon king is somehow losing some of his power. Which means we all have a bit less power but, that also means we can not be bossed around by him anymore because he can't forfeit to take away our power. This also has resulted in us needing less souls to eat." Monspeet admitted. Derier was looking nervously at the floor trying to avoid eye contact. The other demons that were conscious just stood there looking nervous. As for Mael, he was still knocked out cold upstairs.
"How do we know you won't turn on us?" Diane asks loudly again.
"Because you're the only ones left that can effectively protect us from the oracles and we're the only ones that can help you seal them up again. We need each other so why would we kill you when we need you the most to survive?" He asks while Derier slowly getting a bit closer to standing behind Monspeet. Yet, Gowther could not help but to look at her since she had a large growth where her stomach would be.
"Okay...if that's the case the I guess were ready to go with you. Now where are we going to help save our captain?" King asks with a sigh. Diane meanwhile still hid behind him a bit making Zeldris sigh.
This was gonna be a long trip if they kept hiding and glaring at each other.
Meliodas assumed he was dead as he sat in a white room. One with now doors or any way out. In the room had a million blood splatters on the wall and all around him laid every dead body of his previous lover's reincarnations. He just sat there taking deep breaths before closing his eyes. As soon as he did,the voice started.
"You let me die."
He spun his head quickly opening his eyes. Standing right behind him, heart carved out of her chest, blood leaking from her eyes and nose, with no eyes somehow, and her entire body seemed to have rotted was his half sister. She moved forward moving like an animal of sorts. Her body make cracking noises as she moved while her arm popped out of her socket.
"Why didn't you go with me? You knew they were looking for demons but you let me leave alone..why? Why?! I just wanted a chance at life and you helped take that from me..it's your fault."
Meliodas started to tear up as he quickly covered his ears. Slowly tears dropped down his face as her voice continued.
"You helped killed me. It's your fault I will never get married. I will never have children. I will never get a chance to see the world. It's your fault."
"No!" He blurted out sobbing.
"You killed me Meliodas!"
"Stop! Please!"
"It's all your fault Meliodas!"
" Stop it!"
"...If you can't protect me how can you save your new friends?...How can you protect anything if you let your own sister die?"
Meliodas just sobbed loudly as the voice continued. Soon it even bit louder as dead versions of Elizabeth stood up. They all began speaking as one horrid voice saying he let them die. Each word made him more and more weak.
Each word made him wish he had anyone here with him. Anyone at all.
