*My POV*

After that rough night, in the morning we began to fly again. We cheered as we flew. "We're almost there, right?" Bia and Lily asked happily as we flew. "Dude, yeah." Pedro said as we flew. We kept cheering.

"Hey, guys. Wait up. Remember, birds of a-- Oh, wai-- Never mind." Blu said as we kept flying, we flew off happily.

*3rd POV*

Nigel, Gabi, and Charlie were hanging onto the boat by Charlie's tongue, but then Nigel noticed the other birds flying away. "Ah! They're getting away! Wake up, you insect-eating idiot. Follow them." Nigel said gesturing to the birds. 

Charlie let go of the boat and began blowing into the water like a motor. "Better. Now go 10 times faster." Nigel said but a boat zoomed past them, almost knocking them off. Nigel screams before Charlie kept being a motor. "River hogs!" Nigel yelled at the boat.

| Meanwhile |

The boat kept going through the jungle before they turned a certain way and the way they went, showed humans destroying the forest. A man was playing a game with a monkey before the boss walked in.

"I always suspected you were dumber than a monkey. And now I know." Big Boss said as he walked inside. "Boss! What are you doing in the jungle?" The man asked confused and nervous. "Perhaps the better question is, what are they doing?" Big Boss asked as he threw down a newspaper of Tulio and Linda.

"Two million square miles of jungle, and they're playing in my backyard? I don't think so. As you know, my friends, this logging operation is a little-- illegal." Big Boss said mumbling the last part. 

"If those two nuts find those birds, we're out of business. And that's why you must put an end to their little bird-watching expedition. Find them and get rid of them. The rest of you, go cut some trees." Big Boss said pointing an axe at all of them before throwing it at the map. "Who cares about a bunch of birds?" He asked.

| Meanwhile |

"The macaws should be nesting near the Brazil nut trees. So, I think we should continue with go--" Linda said but she heard Tulio mimicking bird noises. "Tulio! Are you listening to me?" Linda asked her husband who kept mimicking bird noises.

*My POV*

"You have reached your destination." Blu's GPS said as we stayed on the ground. "You see? It works like a charm. Here we are." Blu said as we looked up at the trees. "Uh, where?" Carla asked confused.

"Oh, these things have a margin of error." Blu said before he began shaking the GPS. "I told you not to trust that woman." Jewel said. Bia and Lily gasped happily as they looked at a bug. "That's a Heliconius larva." Bia said happily.

"It's about to enter the pupa stage." Lily said as Tiago laughs. "You said 'poop'!" Tiago said shoving his sister and cousin aside. "Hey!" Lily and Bia said as Tiago chased after the bug. "Hey, kids? Kids? Stay close." Blu said.

"It's pupa, birdbrain." Bia told her brother as her and Lily chased after Tiago. Jewel and I sighed. "We'll get them." I said as me and Jewel flew after our children.

*3rd POV*

"Okay. Uh, you guys stay put. Um, I'll look around." Blu said to the others before flying off. "No worries. We'll be here. We're not going anywhere." Rafael said a little scared. "My feathers is poppin' up on the back of my neck." Pedro said to Nico.

"I don't like this." Nico said nervously. "Mm-mmm. Let's back it up. Beep, beep, beep, beep." Pedro said as him and Nico backed away under a leaf scared out of their minds. "Bia? Tiago?" Jewel's voice was heard. "Lily?" Izzy's was heard next.

| Meanwhile |

As Tulio listened for bird noises he heard a squawk. "Come on, lady." Blu said before groaning. "Don't let me down." Blu said holding the GPS around. "Calculating route to 'Funky Town'." The GPS said.

"Oh, great." Blu said walking under a leaf just as Tulio came into sight. As Blu walked back to where the others were he put the GPS down. "Okay, guys! I, uh... Guys?" Blu asked confused before flying back to where they once were.

"Ha, ha. Good one, guys. Very funny. Good, good. Very witty." Blu said as he noticed all of his kids' human items on the ground, making him nervous. "Jewel, where are you? Kids? Jewel?" Blu asked before he was grabbed, causing him to scream. 

| Meanwhile |

Tulio heard it in his headphones causing him to scream. "It's a macaw!" Tulio said. Linda had put her hat down. "Linda!" Tulio screamed causing her to look up gasping, worried for her husband. 

Blu was struggling against whatever was carrying him. "Let me go!" Blu shouted as Tulio and Linda ran after the squawking. "Let me go, you heathens!" Blu shouted at the bird who was carrying him.

"Blu?" Linda asked as her and Tulio kept running, but Linda caught Tulio before he fell over a cliff. "I swear that sounded like Blu." Linda told her husband. Tulio and Liinda were panting. "That's impossible, Linda. He's back home in Rio safe and sound." Tulio said.

"I am an American citizen, you savage! I demand to see my ambassador! I know my rights! I know my rights!" Blu said before he was thrown to the ground. He hit the ground and pulled out a spork. 

*My POV*

"Back. Back, you barbarian. Yeah, that's right. It's a spoon and a fork. Be afraid. Be very afraid." Blu said before he bumped into Rafael. "Ah! Whoa! Whoa, whoa, buddy. Put the spork down." Rafael said lowering the spork.

"Let me go! Put me down!" Nico said, causing us to look up as Lily hid against me. "You lucky I ain't big." Pedro said before a bird dropped Nico and Pedro. They hit the ground. Nico flew over to me and Lily and we heard a bird calling. We gasped.

We saw the birds fly through the water and they were blue macaws. We looked at them amazed. "I can't believe we found them." Jewel said happily as we laugh. "Well, technically, they found us." Bia said.

"Okay, we're gonna need some name tags." Blu said before he bumped into another blue macaw. "Whoa. Uh, hello. Uh, okay, uh--" Blu said as his breath mints fell out of his fanny pack. The bird picked them up.

"No, those are breath mints. Not that you need one. But they're good. You eat them." Blu said, and the bird ate the whole case. "No, no, no! Not the whole box!" Blu said before he began trying to get them out of the bird's mouth.

"Get that out of your mouth." Blu said and he managed to get them out, but they went flying and were caught by a much older blue macaw. "What is this doing here? What's going on?" He asked coming into the light.

"We found them flying too close to the humans." Another bird told him. "What? And who are you?" He asked flying towards Blu. "Uh--" Blu said afraid. "'Uh' is not an appropriate answer. I asked you a question. Where did you come from?" He asked as Blu fell over.

Jewel and I got defensive, and we got close to his face. "Hey! Back off!" We shouted. "Hey, excuse me young lady. It's--" He said but stopped himself. We looked at him and gasped softly. "I can't believe it." I said softly.

"How-How-- How is this--" He said but couldn't speak. "When the loggers came, there was fire and-- and so much smoke." Jewel said. "And-And-And--" I said. "I had you both under my wing, and-and then you were--" He said but stopped.

"Gone." Jewel and I said with tears. "I've looked everywhere for you." He said. "We're here. Daddy!" Jewel and I said happily as we hugged Eduardo happily. He sighed happily. "'Daddy'?" Blu and Nico asked looking at Rafael.

Jewel and I sob softly. "We missed you." I said as tears fall. "It's okay. It's okay now. Daddy has you both." Eduardo said holding us, causing us to laugh and sniffle. He held our wings. "Look at you. It's my little girls, all grown up. You're so beautiful. Just like your mother. I'm so sorry I lost you. I can't imagine you both alone all this time." Eduardo said.

"No, it-it's okay, Dad. We weren't alone. Blu found Jewel, and Nico found me." I said softly as we looked at Blu and Nico. Blu and Nico walked towards us. "Sure is nice to meet you, sir." Blu said holding his wing out, causing Nico to facepalm a little.

"Tuck that wing away, Stu." Eduardo told Blu. "Ah." Blu said pulling his wing close. "Now come here." Eduardo said. "Right, sure, okay." Nico said as they walked closer. "Closer." Eduardo said. "Oh. Really?" Blu asked.

"Closer." Eduardo said. Blu chuckles nervously. "Uh, um--" Blu said as him and Nico were directly in front of Eduardo. "You brought my Jewel and Izzy back to me, and I thank you. I'm gonna hug you now." Eduardo said. "Oh! Um, okay." Nico said.

And the three of them began trying to hug, but Blu made it a little difficult before Eduardo picked Blu and Nico up hugging them. Pedro was sobbing. Jewel and I laugh. "Mom, are you okay?" Carla and Lily asked me and Jewel.

"'Mom'? I'm a grandpa?" Eduardo asked as he let go of Blu and Nico. Blu hit the ground as Nico flew. "Ow!" Blu said. "I'm a grandpa. Look at me, I'm a grandpa!" Eduardo said happily. "Daddy, this is my children Carla, Bia, and Tiago." Jewel said introducing her children. 

"And this is my daughter, Lily." I said introducing Lily as they all stood together. "Nice to meet you, sir." Bia and Lily said happily. "There is no 'sir' around here, young ladies. You will call me Pop-Pop!" Eduardo said causing me, Jewel, and Nico to smile.

"Pop-Pop. Ooh, I like that. It's got a nice ring to it." Carla said as Tiago, Bia, and Lily flew around Eduardo. "I am a Pop-Pop! Yeah, I'm the Pop-Pop-Pop!" Eduardo said happily as he held Bia, Tiago, Carla, and Lily as they laughed happily.

"Kids, go easy on old Pop-Pop." Blu said causing the moment to freeze. "You can call me 'sir', while Nico can call me Pop-Pop." Eduardo said to Blu who's smile dropped. "My daughters have returned!" Eduardo announced happily.
