*3rd POV*

"Let go of us!" Jewel shouted as Nigel carried her and Izzy off. "Hey! Get back here! Ain't nobody messing with friends of Pedro. I ain't having it! It's on!" Pedro said ready. "On? Did you see the talons on that guy?" Nico asked panicked.

"Talons? Maybe it's on...next time. Rafi!" Pedro shouted as him and Nico turned around. "Help! Help!" They both shouted as they both flew back to find Rafael and Blu.

| Mean while |

Blu was walking back while Rafael was following him. "Rafael, quit following me. You're going in the wrong direction. Isn't Carnaval that way?" Blu asked gesturing to the other way as he kept walking. 

"I'm not going to Carnaval." Rafael said before chuckling. "No, I'm going home." He said smiling. "But I thought you loved Carnaval." Blu said facing him. "I do. But I love my family much more. And that's a choice I made with this..." Rafael said before pointing to Blu's heart. "Not with this." He then said and pointing to Blu's head.

"Blu! Blu! Hey, Blu! Blu!" Nico and Pedro said as they were flying over to them. "I was flying, and then I saw this big cockatoo!" Pedro explained as Blu and Rafael looked at them. "With big ninja talons!" Nico added.

"This cockatoo was ugly. Anyways, that's not the point." Pedro said. "Anyways. And then Jewel and Izzy were there, and he snatched them up, like he snatched them up! And then he was like, "You comin' with me, you little princesses?"." Nico said. 

"And Jewel and Izzy was, like..." Pedro said before he imitated kicks and punches. "'We ain't your princesses! Leave me alone!' I was, like, "What?!" Then he was, like, "What?!" Nico and Pedro kept going back in forth.

"Stop! Just tell me what happened." Blu cut them off wanting to know what was happening. "He got Jewel and Izzy, man!" Pedro told him. "And he's taking them to the parade!" Both Nico and Pedro said as they pointed.

Blu gasped softly. "This is all my fault." Blu said before he grew determined. "Let's fly." He said and the next thing we know Blu was riding in Luiz's fruit hat as he ran. "Carnaval, here we come!" Luiz shouted happily.

Nico got hit with his drool. "Hey, dog, I'm drowning back here." Nico said before flying back after them after wiping it off. "You will get wet on this ride! Ha-ha!" Luiz said as they kept moving to save Jewel and Izzy. 

| Meanwhile |

Marcel was pacing around. "Come on, come on, come on. Where are these guys?" Marcel asked before he saw a beautiful bird float coming towards him. He laughs happily. "Whoa-ho-ho-ho! Yes! Nice! Very nice." Marcel said looking at it.

"Marcel! Yoo-hoo!" Tipa yelled for him, causing him to turn and be in disbelief. They had a chicken float. "Marcel!" Tipa yelled and the chicken dance was playing. "Oh, boy." Marcel said embarrassed. 

"We're a chicken! Cluck, cluck!" Tipa said happily. "Come on, Fernando, dance!" Tipa said as Fernando was dressed in an egg. "Oh, idiots." Marcel said faceplaming.

| Mean while |

Linda was carefully guiding the motorcycle through the crowd of people. "Excuse me. Um..." Linda said before clearing her throat as she slowly made her way through with Tulio helping. "Coming through. Watch your feet!" Linda warned.

"Hey!" A man yelled as his foot got ran over. "Whoops. Sorry." Linda apologized. Dances were getting let in to the back where the floats were. Someone was stopped since he wasn't a performer. 

Linda and Tulio looked at each other getting an idea. Soon enough, Tulio walked around the corner in a blue macaw outfit. The head strangely looked like Blu's. Tulio walked past a mirror, but he took a step back and looked at himself.

He gasped softly and he was now having fun. "Wow! Cyanopsitta spixii." Tulio said before he began moving around and squawking like a bird. He fell into the mirror and kept acting like a bird before a voice was heard.

"Tulio?" Linda asked confused. "Oh!" He said before chuckling nervously. "Linda. I was just, uh..." Tulio said before noticing Linda walking to him in a blue macaw outfit. She had a shiny top and bottoms on, and the head strangely looked like Jewel's.

Tulio stared at her like he was in love. "I look ridiculous, don't I?" Linda asked and fireworks went off in the background. They stared at each other like they were in love. They leaned into each other, but the beaks on the heads caused them to snap into reality.

"Ooh!" They both said as they fixed themselves. Linda chuckles. "Sorry." Linda said and Tulio giggles. A man spoke over the speaker and Tulio caught word of it. "Oh! The parade, it's about to start." Tulio said as he guided Linda.

"Go ahead." Security said to a performer. "Okay, just follow my lead. Act naturally." Tulio said before he began squawking like a bird again. "Oh, uh..." Linda said before she joined in on the squawking.

They made their way through security and the guard looked at them weirdly, but they kept moving. "Oooh!" Linda said as she almost tripped. Tulio stopped. "Are you okay?" Tulio asked as he went to her side.

"Yeah." Linda said to him. "Come on." Tulio said. "Blu?" Linda called out. "Blu?" Tulio asked before squawking. "Blu? Blu?" Linda asked before a man speaking Portuguese began walking over. 

"What? W-Wait, wait, no, no, no. I mean looking for a bluebird. B-Birdo?" Linda asked. "Que e que e birdo?" The man asked confused. "Birdo, yes." Linda said but the man guided her away. "Oh. Okay." Linda said before she was pushed into a room.

"Wait, what are you doing? Tulio! Hey! Let me out!" Linda shouts as she banged her hands on the door. Tulio was squawking as he opened something. Only finding out its the door to the engine. The parade has started, and he was pushed by other performers to go. 

"Tulio!" Linda shouted but gasped as she was being lifted up by the platform she was standing on. "Oh....this is not good. This is not good. This is...Cheese and sprinkles." Linda said as she was on top of a float in the parade. 

The crowd was singing a samba song. "Okay, you can bring me down now! I think we're done here!" Linda shouted as she covered herself. "Hey! Hey!" Tipa and Armando said as they were dancing on the chicken float. 

People were booing them. Marcel was driving and he ducked out of sight. "Ha-ha! I think they like my moves! Ha-ha! Hey, keep dancing, egg-boy." Tipa said as him and Armando were having too much fun.

*My POV*

Jewel and I were in the same cage sadly. "Two down, one to go." Nigel said as he walked to us. "You'll never find him." I said glaring. "He's already gone." Jewel said sadly. "Oh, I don't need to find him. He'll find you two." Nigel said before flying off. We were now worried.

*3rd POV*

Luiz, Rafael, Blu, Pedro and Nico had arrived. "Ha-ha! This is the spit! Yeah, baby! Now I could get my freak on! Ha-ha!" Luiz said as he stopped and danced happily. "Luiz, please! Rescue first, freak later." Blu said before gasping as drummers were coming.

"Come on!" Blu said as Luiz turned a different way. "Out of my way, people!" Luiz shouted as he ran. "Whoa, whoa, whoa!" One of the men said as he tripped over Luiz's drool. "All right, guys, I'll fly ahead and look for Jewel and Izzy." Rafael said as he flew ahead.

He flew through the parade with Pedro and Nico following. "Mr. Big Nose! Hold up!" Pedro said as they kept flying. "Uh..." Linda said nervously. "Rebola, rebola, rebola!" The man said to Linda. "What?" Linda asked confused.

"Rebola!" Another performer said. "Linda! Excuse me. Excuse me. Linda!" Tulio shouted for her before seeing her stand up on the float as people cheer. He gasped. "Linda!" He shouted for her as he made his way speaking Portuguese. 

"Rebola!" The man said. "In English!" Linda shouted desperately. "Linda! Linda! You've got to shake your tushy!" Tulio shouted shaking his own butt. "No! We don't shake our tushies in Minnesota!" Linda shouted and the man groans.

Luiz barks and jumped through two women. "Hot dog! Coming through!" Luiz said. Linda gasped as the float suddenly stopped. "Blu!" Linda shouted excitedly as she saw Blu riding on Luiz who was barking as he ran through.

"Tulio! Tulio! I saw Blu!" Linda shouted happily. "What?" Tulio asked confused. "Rebola! Rebola!" The man shouted. "Hold on, Blu! I'm coming for you!" Linda shouted as she slowly made her way around the dance pole and tried to slowly make her way down.

Tulio gasped. "Meu Deus!" Tulio said as he saw this. Linda was walking down slowly before she slipped and bounced. She was caught by two performers. "Oh! Oh! Blu!" Linda shouted, causing Blu to turn around and see her.

"Blu!" Linda shouted as Linda was struggling to balance on the performer's heads. "Linda! Linda? Wait!" Blu said as he stopped Luiz to look at her. Linda was struggling to balance, but as she moved from each performer, she ended up shaking her tushy.

Blu smiled but turned at a voice. "Blu! Blu! We found them!" Rafael said as him, Pedro and Nico came over. "They're on some, like, weird chicken float." Pedro said. "Come on!" Rafael said as they flew off again to try and get them out.

Blu looked between them and Linda. He turned away. "Let's go get Jewel and Izzy." Blu said determined, causing Luiz to keep going. "Wait! Blu! Where are you going?" Linda asked as she began using the men to walk and she was cornered to dance, and she smiled as she was having fun, but she fell.

But she was caught by Tulio who was smiling along with Linda. People were cheering and the man clapped happily. "I saw Blu! He's riding on a bulldog!" Linda said. "What?!" Tulio asked confused. 

Luiz was making his way through alligator performers. "There they are, that's the float." Blu said as they saw the chicken float. "Whoo! That float is a crime in itself!" Luiz said. "Oh!" Blu said as he was knocked off Luiz.

He landed on the ground and saw Luiz pulling one of the performers by the tail snarling. Blu looked forward and saw one of the boards. He ran forward and jumped on it as the performers were getting on them.

He skated through the performers determined. "There he is!" Linda said pointing as she and Tulio came around a corner and saw Blu skating away. Blu made his way through and used a stick to send the board in the air. He landed on the float and climbed inside.

*My POV*

"Hey, Jewel." A voice said quietly. We turned and saw Blu. "Blu!" We said as we faced him. "I'm gonna get you out of here." Blu said determined. "No, no. Blu, you can't be here. You have to go. Nigel is..." Jewel said but we were stopped as Nigel threw Blu into a cage.

"Hello, pretty bird. So, kind of you to join our little soiree." Nigel said as he closed the cage on Blu. "Oh, come on. You really think I came alone?" Blu asked as Nigel put the lock on it. "I got three of the roughest, meanest, craziest birds in all of Rio right behind me." Blu said.

"Whoo-hoo! You hear that guys? We're saved!" Pedro said happily. "Uh, I think he means us." Nico said sadly. "That's ri...oh." Pedro said sadly. "Nico..." I said sadly. "Baby bird..." Nico said as he flew to the side of his cage and tried to reach for me. 

Nigel sighs. "Ah, love. It's such a powerful and...stupid thing." Nigel said as he picked up feathers from Jewel and Blu that fell to the ground, and he yanked a few from me. "Ow!" I shouted as he flew off to where the humans were.
