🐳Percy's POV🐳

I screamed in agony as I felt something go through my stomach. I fell to the ground as the person who impaled me yanked the object out. The Avengers turned to look at me. I clutched my stomach region, and I felt a sticky substance touch my hand.

"Look at the Hero of Olympus. So weak and defenseless." I heard a girl's voice say. She walked towards my front side and kneeled right beside me. She caressed (A/N I didn't know what that meant until a month ago) my face with the back of her hand. She stood up. "You know, I was expecting better from the Hero and Savior of Olympus." Why does her voice sound familiar? Who is she? Did I know her? I was too afraid to look. "You failed to save those close to you, including me." What? " I trusted you. But instead, you failed me. You failed my boyfriend, your best friend. And you didn't just fail us," Shouldn't the Avengers and my friends be stopping her right now? Where were they? "You also failed to save the one you love. The one you hold close to your heart. Oh, and I forgot to mention your other dear friends. What were their names? Oh! I remember!" I was struggling to stay conscious. "Jason," Black dots danced in my vision. "Piper, Le-" I was about to pass out when I felt a sharp pain in my shoulder. "Oh, come on! Don't leave me just yet. I'm just getting started!" She twisted the dagger in my shoulder before yanking it out. I but my lip, not wanting to show the pain I was in. "Let's see, where was I? Oh! I remember now!" Her voice got serious. "He will rise. Not you, nor your mortal friends will stop him. Not you, nor your mortal friends will stop him. With the help of Tartarus, Kronos will rule the world with an iron fist." She grabbed my face and forced me to look at her.

I gasped when I saw her face. Her blue eyes stared at mine. Her black hair was up in a ponytail, the wind making it sway. "Join us, Percy. Say yes and none of your loved ones will get hurt. You can live a happy life. No gods, no quests, no monsters trying to kill you. All your worries will go away. Just say yes." Her voice was and calm, unlike how it was a few seconds ago.

I thought about a life with no gods and monsters constantly bothering me. A life with no worries. I loved the idea. I could be with Annabeth, Paul, and Mom without anybody bothering us. No monsters coming after me. But as much as I loved that, I couldn't help but think what a boring life that would be. What if everything went back to how it was before I found out I was a demigod? What if I never really met Annabeth? What if I was still stuck with Gabe?

I stared at the person who had died a little more than a year ago, straight in the eyes and said one word, "No."

She growled and stabbed the middle of my chest with her dagger. I let out the scream I had been holding in. Breaking the blade off of the hilt, she placed her hand on top of the place she stabbed me, covering her hand in blood. A golden light surrounded us, glowing dimmer by the second. Soon, the light was gone along with her.

The Avengers ran up to me. "Where'd she go?" Tony asked.

Bruce came up to me and inspected my injuries. "What happened, Percy? One second you're on the floor with a girl standing over you, the next the girl is gone and you have stab wounds all over your body."

I was too shocked to say a word. She had died right in front of my eyes. But...did she really? Did she fake her own death? Did she lie to everyone? Why is she doing this?

I was pulled out of my thoughts when I felt someone shaking me and a sharp pain in my chest. I hissed and looked at Bruce, who had a worried expression on his face, with a painful expression. The blade inside pierced my insides as I tried to sit up.

"Percy, what happened?" Bruce asked again, concerned.

"Sh-she died. I saw her die. How is she alive?" My thoughts were racing, the pain not helping my scattered thoughts.

My world was falling apart. I was going crazy. First, my supposed-to-be-dead friends are alive. Then, old friends, who are supposed to be dead, are alive and evil. What's next? I've been in a coma since I was twelve-years-old?

Tony walked up to me and slid his mask off. "You know her?" I nodded. "Cool. Do you think you can get me her number or something?"

I glared at Tony. "Do you ever think of anything else?"

Tony started to say something, but Steve interrupted him. "Who was she, Percy?"

I made eye contact with Steve before looking back at the ground. Memories of the second titan war came flooding back. The deaths. Their deaths. The deaths I could've saved. Her eyes before she died. Her blue eyes were filled with fear. Fear of death. Fear if war. The war I was supposed to die in. I should've died. Not her. Not Beck. Not Luke. They should be living life to the fullest. The Avengers wouldn't have to deal with this crap. The world would be at peace. No more death quests or wars, no more mythical being trying to destroy the gods.

So if this was true, why was I still alive? Why didn't the Fates just cut my string already? Why did I want to die so badly? If I had everyone back, why was I so focused on dying?

I looked at the Avengers again. Their eyes were full of worry. I tried focusing on staying awake. The pain in my chest was getting worse by the second. I felt myself slowly losing consciousness.

I looked at the ground once again. I was going to tell them.

A/N This was exactly 1035 words. I'm sorry this took so long. With school and all the test we had to take, it was really hard to update. Now the summer is here and hopefully, I can update more. I won't have my laptop throughout the entire summer, so it'll be harder. Especially because that's where I do all my editing. It's a lot easier. Especially because of what I use. So again, I'll try to update more and sorry it took so long. This is only part one, so, yeah...

Can you guess who She is?

Also, do you guys want curse words in this book, or do I leave it as a "clean" book?
