He knew.
All of his questions were answered.
But what good would that be if he was killed before he could tell the team?
So as the telepaths both attacked his mind barricade that he did his best in keeping up, he desperately shouted aloud, "A LITTLE HELP!"
Luckily for him, help was well on its way.
M'gann made her presence in his mind known as she repelled the psychic attacks. As he tried to recover and bask in the wonder of the painlessness of his head at the same time, she informed him with a bit of surprise, I could sense your mind! She continued to shield him and push them away from the two heroes' collective psyche.
As she fought them, Robin realized the telepaths together were too strong for her to take on by herself, and he was the only one who was near and able enough to help. He was no telepath, and was unused to attacking other beings' minds. But he stood up and did what he did best.
He hacked.
They put a virus on his mind, didn't they? And his mind had withdrawn from the 'network,' the telepathic link, to keep other systems, others' minds, from getting infected. Those were concepts he understood.
What made a mind different from a computer?
A lot. A bunch of intricately linked metal bits versus a bunch of intricately linked cells?
Hey, maybe not that much after all.
So he did with his mind what he would do with a computer when he was being counter-hacked. He set up defenses to delay the opponents' attacks as he reached out and probed for any weaknesses in their 'firewalls'. The longer he fought, the more it seemed like working on a computer; change the mindscape out with a computer and the thought-actions with keystroke commands, and it was the same. Replenish the defense here. Hit where they were trying to reach out there. Find a new weakness.
Within a minute, they were toast. Nice and crispy toast. With lots of Alfred's homemade jam... Man, I really am out of it.
M'gann flew to him with the rest of the team close behind. "I've never seen a non-telepath do something like that before! How did you--"
"Just like hacking." He crossed his arms over his chest and grinned.
"How is telepathy like hacking? Never mind, I take it back. Just tell me what on Earth happened," Wally demanded.
"I guess I can sleep now." Robin grinned at them.
"GOOD!" they all yelled, anxious to see him no longer exhausted.
"Dude, just fall asleep now. I can carry you. I've done it before." Wally held out his arms.
"But before I do..." His team groaned, knowing they could never change his mind from whatever unnecessary thing he was thinking.

They went back to the mountain, Robin explaining what had happened on the way. He almost passed out once or twice, but he needed to stay awake just a little longer to explain to Bats. Plus, he still had a toxic amount of caffeine in his system.
When they got back, Batman was waiting for them. Robin marched straight up to him. "Hi there, Daddybats. How goes it?" He didn't wait for an answer. "I just had a grand adventure of sleeplessness and I have to say, I really developed an appreciation for the stuff. Rest is muy importante." He put an arm around the Bat. "So now I'm here to tell you that I'm taking the next couple nights off. I'm fine, just kinda tired. Nothing big, don't worry. No, no, nothing big. I said so. Don't worry. No, it wasn't dangerous at all. I mean, it was, but--" He wrapped both arms around his mentor. "I CAN'T TAKE IT ANYMORE! YOU GOT ME! IT WAS ALMOST REALLY BAD AND I AM SLEEP DEPRIVED AND... I don't wanna... don't..." He slumped forward, and his mentor caught him. The World's Greatest Detective realized that he was asleep.
Batman raised an eyebrow at the team, standing about five feet away from the exchange. He got shrugs and shaking heads.
Since there was clearly no answer forthcoming yet, he carried his baby bird to his bedroom for a good night's sleep.
