Chapter Seven
     As some as Rey saw Mr. And Mrs. Solo as well as Ben walking to the front door , she ducked under her covers , locking the door before hand.

She heard knocking on her door , and she refused to come out, she could just blame it on morning sickness ... she had plenty of that.

Maybe after a good hour or so she opened her door and saw Mrs. Solo coming up to her room with a glass of water.

"Mrs. Solo" Rey said as she clutched the door knob.

"Hi Rey" she smiled softly "I wanted to come talk to you"

"Oh-" Rey sighed "come in" and she opened the door all the way.

Mrs. Solo sat down on her bed and looked at her "we know it's ben's ...
Its just crazy that it could be"

"Ben said it was impossible he just
Doesn't want to face fatherhood and I'm not ready to be a mother so I'm just gonna see if I can terminate it or give it up for adoption -"

"I really wish you wouldn't"

"Why ? Against it for religious reasons ?" Rey asked as she sat at her desk chair bringing her feet to her lap

"Ben had cancer" Leia said softly . Rey gasped and Leia continued "he was six when he was diagnosed with cancer, he went bald went through chemo from the time he was six to when he was thirteen ... they had a treatment which could target the cancer and kill surrounding cells in hope of it not spreading... the radiation when to his ... his privates and after tests he was found with unusable sperm ... he was thirteen when he was told he could never have children" Leia sighed.

"I had no idea" Rey said softly.

"He doesn't talk about it... he won't... and when he came home after the pier he came into my office and cried ... saying that if this real then he can be father ... maybe  to only one child but still" she wiped a tear "he wants it... he told me he didn't wanna get his hopes up but we know it's his"

"Yeah" Rey said "I'll keep it... I mean we'll keep it..." she said .

Leia stood up and hugged the young
Woman "I'm gonna go downstairs , come down when you're ready" she told her and left her room.

Rey looked into the mirror, the Solo's where downstairs still talking to her parents and Poe was probably yelling at Ben .

She ran a hand over her tiny belly, no bump yet but definitely something was there .

Rey wanted to scream and cry and yell. She didn't to be a teen mom who's baby daddy only takes care of the kid once a month and she didn't want her kids to go off track and her career hopes go downhill.

But Ben wanted this , and she was going to hold that over his pale and inky colored locks head.

She walked downstairs and saw Ben and both their parents .

"She can keep the baby if-" her father began .

"If ?" Ben asked .

"They get married ... I don't care if they're not together their child will grow up with a mother and a father as a unit " he said.

"Alright" Ben said .

"What ? Don't I get a say in this ?!" Rey asked .

"No..." her father said "end of discussion"
