Why they were at the party:  Unlike his father, his mother is a carefree woman, his mother noticed how intense his husband on his son so she decided to (literally) forced his son to come to the party, hoping he would relax and loosen up a bit.

Phoenix is very smart and confident on every thing he do; he take pride on everything he do.
He is ambitious, alert, and intellectual. He don't like to be rushed, but believe me or not, he would finish his task as quick as possible. He usually double-check when making decisions and is very careful when planning, and he usually calm and collected during hectic situations.

Phoenix is very good at pissing people off (it's not like he wanted to), he is not arrogant, maybe sometimes, but he is usually  judgemental  and looks down at almost everyone else. He usually bottle up his emotions, but he'll vent when he need to. He would do anything to achieve what he wants, and nothing will stand on his way.

P.S. He is only nice when needed. (To maintain their family's profile)

He only studies to achieve high grades and win academic competition to impress his father so I wouldn't really say the he enjoys it, but the studying gives him lots of benefits so you could say it's somewhere in between. Phoenix loves books, it's the only thing that can relax his mind. He also enjoys painting and playing the piano but he don't do that often because he is mostly studying. He also likes winning and always being in first. And uh...cute things...but no one knows that ofcourse..

flaws: Phoenix is too intese on making his father impress, almost forgetting to have fun and loosen up. He also finds it hard to find friends because he is intimidating to most people, not like he needed any, but it'll be sure nice to have someone to be your friend from time to time.

backstory:

Phoenix is from a rich and famous family - happy? Wrong. I wish it was! All his older siblings were born with a natural remarkable talent in them, making his Father very proud of them. Unlike his siblings, he had to study day and night just to impress his father. How can he compete to his 4 older siblings? They already gave the fame and money that his father can ask. Even so, he tried his best — his very best rather to achieve multiple trophies and have the highest grade of all, he also tried his best on lots of things, but still, his father never noticed him, that on everything he do and achieved, he would still be a joke.
