I woke up the next morning alone in the bed.
"Sean?" I heard him cooking breakfast.
I got up and walked back out
"Morning (y/n)" he smiled as he put some food on a plate
"Pancakes and eggs?"
"AAAAAND bacon!" He plopped some bacon on the plate as well.
"You master chef you" I smiled as I began to eat.
I noticed a picture of Sean and a girl on the fridge
"Pretty. Cousin?"
"Girlfriend"
I choked on my pancake
"Girlfriend?!"
"Yea. Her name is Signe. We've been dating for a week. I don't think we will go on much longer though, she's been out of town a lot and I am beginning to think she's cheating"
"You didn't tell me you had a girlfriend before you let me share a bed with you" I quickly ran to his room and began to gather my things.
Looking out the window I noticed it was raining. Pouring rain.
"(Y/n)? What are you doing?"
"I'm leaving. I don't feel comfortable staying here when you have a girlfriend"
"But it's pouring!"
"It's just water Sean!"
"You'll get soaked!"
"I'm fiiiiiinnne" I said as I opened the door and walked outside
"(Y/n) get back inside"
"No Sean"
"God dammit" he followed me out
"Get your ass back inside my house"
"Sean-"
He grabbed me by my waist and threw me over his shoulder as he carried me back inside
"Sean!!!" I said when he put me down
"Shush, I told you I'm going to break up with her if she doesn't break up with me."
"But still"
"But still what?!"
"You have a girlfriend. And I slept in your bed."
"And didn't do anything!"
"Sean"
"(Y/n) please. Just stay here"
"Fine"
"Thanks"
His phone began to ring.
"Speak of the devil"
He picked up
"Signe, hey babe! Oh, ok. That's good. Don't worry. I'll send your things. Just saying, I knew you were cheating on me. I read your texts. Yea, fuck you too" he hung up
"I told you she would" he said as he sat down on the couch next to me. I leaned my head on his shoulder to comfort him.
"It's alright Sean. If she cheated on you, she doesn't deserve you anyway"
"You're absolutely fucking right" he said as he leaned his head on mine.
"Sean."
"(Y/n)"
"At least I won't feel uncomfortable"
"Yea"
"Wanna go burn the picture of you two?"
"(Y/n) I love the way you think" he smiled and ran to the kitchen to get the picture and a lighter.
"Let's do this!" I ran to the room and found 3 more pictures of them.
"Here's some more!" I said and handed them to him.
"Here's a bouquet of flowers I got her on Valentine's Day!" He threw them into the fire too.
"And this teddy bear?" I questioned
"No.... Not that bear"
"Why do you have a teddy bear"
"Because the girl I used to love left it behind when she left me"
"What was her name?"
He looked shocked, and hesitated to answer.
"H-her name doesn't matter."
"Ok then. What was she like?"
He smiled
"She was amazing. Funny. Pretty. Rarely a damsel in distress. Loved to hang out with her friends and loved to make friends too. Everyone loved her. Guys adored her, and cried when she left, especially two of them."
"Why those two"
"Well, one was me. And the other was another guy who loved her"
"And you kept that bear?" I said looking at it. It was really old. Yet, strangely familiar.
"Yea." He began to throw the things into the fire place "kept me happy to look at it. Hoping that she'll come back"
